The VBM 15.20 lathe, featuring a double column structure, is an integral part of a
range of machines that makes available to the customer tables with diameter from
1500 to 5500 mm. This means that VBM lathes may be used for maximum diameter
turning operations, which can vary from 2500 mm to 6700 mm, depending on the
table used.
We do not simply supply machines. Our aim is to offer solutions that bring together
flexibility and modularity, whilst at the same time not impairing the possibility of
implementing specific solutions on the machines. As in the case of the head and
accessory magazines, featuring a translating release movement. Or the chain tool

Il tornio VBM 15.20 caratterizzato da una struttura a doppio montante, è parte integrante
di un programma di macchine che mette a disposizone del cliente tavole di diametro da
1500 a 5500 mm. Questo significa che sui torni VBM è possibile eseguire lavorazioni di
tornitura con diametri massimi che, a seconda della tavola scelta, possono variare
da 2500 a 6700 mm. Non ci limitiamo a fornire le macchine. La nostra scelta è proporre

The range of VBM vertical lathes also includes the 20.25 model. This not only preserves
the own features of the VBM machines manufactured by IMT Intermato, but, like for
other ranges, it can be equipped with a further milling, drilling, and tapping spindle,
which thanks to the interpolating C axis and the grinding spindle, can easily complete a
full manufacturing cycle in one single position. This brings advantages in terms of time
savings and better quality. At the core of each IMT Intermato technical choice is the
objective of always ensuring the best for the end user. As in the case of the chain tool
magazine, capable of also handling accessories and heads.

Double riser vertical lathes, like the ones of the VBM range, are extremely flexible
machines available in models that vary greatly in sizes, in order to cover each
and every possible utilisation requirement. It is therefore not by chance that
often these machines are selected following extremely complete configurations.

The dimensional increase of the IMT Intermato offer perfectly
matches the technical choices made. It is not by chance
that the range of VBM milling units features as their most
important models machines with extremely significant sizes
and operating capabilities. Machines with hydrostatic support
tables, handling up to 120 tonnes, are an intrinsic feature
of the day to day ITM Intermato capabilities. Machines which
imposing sizes make it also important to have the possibility
of positioning the operator as best as possible in relation to
the piece being processes. This is what brought the decision
