Dear Exhibitor,
Thank you very much for your continued support and interest in The CIAA 2015 Step Show, “Throw
Down” on February 27, 2015 & “Stepoff”, on February 28, 2014, at the Charlotte Convention Center
on 501 S. College St. Charlotte, NC 28202.
The CIAA Step Show is an annual event known to attract up to 5,000 men, women, children and
teens. It also offers retail vendors the opportunity to participate and showcase approved
merchandise in a designated area.
Please read the contract and rules and regulations material carefully to ensure you meet all
application requirements. Applications, contracts and fees are due by February 16, 2015. Make your
money order payment payable to Earthquake Productions. Credit cards are accepted with a 3%

I hereby request vending space for The CIAA Step Show, “Throw Down & Step Off”, and agree to abide by the
contract and established rules and regulations that are a part of this contract between Earthquake Productions
and the Vendor as they have been formulated in the best interest of all concerned. I understand I am only
authorized to sell merchandise included in my application and will not be allowed to sell or distribute any
merchandise using the CIAA name, trademark or logo unless licensed. All vendors selling collegiate
merchandise must be authorized and approved to sell through the Collegiate Licensing Company. All parts not
covered are subject to the decision of Earthquake Productions and the Director of Vendor Operations.

2015 CIAA Step Shows
CONTRACT FOR VENDOR SPACE
1. BOOTH/SPACE SET-UP
Charlotte Convention Center
• Setup start time: 1:00pm – 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015.
• Setup must be completed by 4:00p.m. , Friday, February 27, 2015. Failure to set-up your booth
at the hours scheduled will forfeit your right to your booth.
• Approximate booth space: 10 X 10.
• (1) 8ft Table w/ (2) Chairs
• Up to three people only will be allowed entry for vendor set-up and sale.
• Seller must provide all set-up materials. This includes lighting equipment if needed.
2. BOOTH/SPACE BREAKDOWN: Breakdown cannot occur before the completion of the Step Show.
All vendors equipment and merchandise must be removed within one hour from the assigned areas after
the completion of the Step Shows. No exception to this rule.
3. VENDORS MUST BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS: At 6:00p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 and 5:30p.m.
Saturday, February 28, 2015 .
4. No vendor will be allowed to solicit sales of any fashion in any other area associated with the 2015
CIAA Step Shows except in the space assigned. The soliciting of sales outside of the official locations
will forfeit your right to your booth/space. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
5. 2015 CIAA Step Shows:
Vendor Fee: $400 (Includes 10 x 10 Space, One 8ft Table, Two Chairs)
Extra Table Fee: $30 per table
Chairs: $3 per chair
Electricity: $75
Fees can be submitted in the form of money order or credit card. Money Orders should be made
payable to Earthquake Productions. Personal and business checks are accepted. Space is not
guaranteed until payment is received. Space will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
6. 2015 CIAA MERCHANDISE: Only Vendors with approved license by the CIAA office will be
authorized to sell official CIAA and CIAA Tournament merchandise. Any vendor attempting to sell
unauthorized merchandise will be subject to immediate expulsion from the vendor area, confiscation of
goods and/or arrested. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
7. TRADEMARKED ITEMS, COPYRIGHTED AND PATENTED MATERIAL: Vendors must
have an authorization letter, license or other written verification of the entity or agency or organization.
THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
8. For best consideration, completed application and other required documents must be submitted and on
file with the Director of Vendor Operations by February 14, 2015. Failure to supply documentation
will forfeit the vendor’s right to sale.
9. Vendors are not allowed to sell or display explicit (sexual, drug related, or profane) materials as
determined by Earthquake Productions. Tobacco and alcoholic beverages are not permitted for sale,
information or sampling in booths. Sale of product is not permitted outside of booth.

10. All items sold by the vendor must be listed on the application. Any changes will require official
approval.
11. We will not grant category exclusivity to any vendor, nor will it be held liable or chargeable for any loss
of sales, income, resale or commissions of the Vendor.
12. Earthquake Productions has sole discretion to make adjustments to the spaces as may be required by the
Fire Marshall or for logistical restrictions.
13. Vendor MAY NOT assign, sublease, resell or share spaces allotted.
14. Special vendor credentials will be distributed to each vendor.
15. The vending fee is non-refundable, in the case of acts of nature, war, fire, strike or in the event any
outside cause such as any agencies, organization, institutions or persons not party to or privy to this
lease or other emergency prevents the 2015 CIAA Step Shows from being held. Earthquake Productions
may retain such part of the Vendors’ rental fee required to compensate the 2015 CIAA Sep Shows
expenses incurred up to the time such contingency shall have occurred.
16. Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth/space and surrounding area clean and orderly.
17. FOOD VENDORS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
18. THE REMAINDER VENDOR FEE MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE APPLICATION IS
CONSIDERED FOR ACCEPTANCE OR SPACE ALLOTTED. Neither application nor prior
participation guarantees acceptance as a 2015 Vendor. Vendors are chosen on a number of criteria
including, variety and appeal of product, infrastructure/equipment requirements, etc. Earthquake
Productions reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding choice of vendors.
