God changes lives at camp! BBC has four student teams visiting camps and CIY
conferences. Here are a few examples from our reps of how camper’s lives were
touched after a week of camp and away from distractions...

Payton watched the girls at Silverlake Bible Camp find God as the true “picture” of
a father who loves and cares, when their earthly parents do not. Caleb, at 4
Corners Camp, met a boy who found a new identity in God that shines through and
gives him strength when others try to wear him down. At Camp Christian, Brittany
had the opportunity to encourage a girl who was having a hard time moving
forward in her faith. Mike Maglish (Admissions Director) spoke at Intermountain
Christian Camp. The High School students discovered that God is a rescuer, and
they committed to sharing that good news with at least five others.
Join BBC in prayer for the lives touched and changed at camp this summer. Pray for
students as they equip for a life of Christian ministry and leadership.

BBC Faculty on the road and around the world
Danny Harrod is in Kenya visiting churches, and other ministries he
helped establish several years ago. This is his report: “Today we met
with 30 church leaders, prayed for workers and kids at a children’s home,
met with teachers at the school they started and did some visitation of
Kenyan families. God is blessing our time here beyond our expectations.”
Danny is traveling with Mike Schrage of Good News Productions
and president of ICOM 2016. Earlier this summer he visited a BBC
alum, Tony Cole, who is serving with CMF in Tűbingen, Germany.
Derek Voorhees spoke in Florida at a CIY conference for High School students, taught at a camp in
Alaska, and then traveled on to Asia International Seminary (an “Asians for Christ” ministry) in
Chiang Mai, Thailand. He is teaching an exegetical study on “Romans” to a group of pastors &
leaders from Burma. This is the second year he has worked with this group of church leaders.
Russell and Amber Grove have been on the road teaching children & youth at three different
camps. They were at a conference at WiNeMa over the Memorial Day weekend, they directed the
children’s program at the Oregon Christian Convention, and are ending their summer travels
teaching youth at Kootenai Camp in Montana.
Jessica Wilson traveled to the Seattle, Washington area to lead worship at a special service for
Highline Christian Church in Burien.
Just released, “The Medal of Honor: Robert Maxwell Story.” This video is available free for your ministry and for
congregations to use. Robert Maxwell is the oldest living recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor, and sponsor of
the Medal of Honor Scholarship at BBC. The video can be viewed at Vimeo.com/125098415
The Alexander Christian Foundation of
Oregon has announced that four of our
students are among their 2015
scholarship recipients. Quentin Byers,
Isaac Williams, Katie Johnston and
Mary Johnston will be blessed with
funds to further their education and
preparation for ministry at BBC.
It is our pleasure to partner with the ACF
and their efforts to benefit Christian
students who need help in order to
attend Bible colleges.
Connect 2015 is a two-day conference for Middle School
students held on the BBC campus. We want to create a place
where students can connect with the gospel, other believers,
and with ministry. Join us for worship, messages from Seth
Bailey, leadership training, and tons of FUN! Register by August
14 to get early-bird registration … only $40! Youth ministers and
their wives are free! See our website for more info.
