USED EQUIPMENT FOR SALE
The Antrim County Road Commission is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the below listed
equipment. Bids must be received in the Road Commission offices, located at 319 E Lincoln St,
Mancelona, MI 49659, by 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2015. The bids will be tabulated and a
recommendation will be presented to the County Board of Road Commissioner’s at their next
regularly scheduled meeting.
The following equipment is being offered for sale;
ACRC Unit #004, a 1997 GMC Sierra, 1/2 ton pickup, 4x4
ACRC Unit #046, a 1974 OshKosh with attached snow wing
ACRC Unit #106, a 1991 Caterpillar D4C LGP bulldozer with attached back-hoe
ACRC Unit #118, a 2005 Dodge 1500, 1/2 ton pickup, 4x4

BIDDING PROCEDURE
(1)
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with “USED EQUIPMENT BID” clearly noted
on the outside.
(2)
Bids must be submitted on the enclosed form. The form may be downloaded or picked
up at the Road Commission offices during normal working hours.
(3)
Faxed or E-mailed bid submissions will NOT be accepted
(4)
Bidders are welcome to bid on any or all of the equipment offered
The Road Commission will use current scrap pricing as a basis for the minimum bid.
The equipment is located at the Mancelona facility and may be inspected Monday – Thursday,
6am-4pm.

The Antrim County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to
waive any irregularity or defect in a bid, or to accept the bid which in the opinion of the Road
Commission is in its best interest.
