12 pieces ivory cardstock cut to 41⁄2”x6"

1 yard ivory seam binding
1 yard ivory twine
2 each mini brads
Tools, Adhesives & Ink:
Paper trimmer, scissors, scoring tool/bone folder, foam
dimensional adhesive, strong quick dry glue, tape runner,
distressing inks and a decorative corner punch (optional).
Directions:
*All measurements are length x width.
1. From the Time to Flourish 6"x6" Patterns and Solids
Pad cut 16 squares of various prints, 2"x2" each. Cut four
(4) strips of printed paper 1⁄2”x2". Distress the edges and
sponge with distress ink.

2. Create a
patchwork
pattern on
the front
cover of the
Kraft Mixed
Media
album by
arranging
the printed
squares
in rows of
four. Create
two rows of
2"x2" inch
squares,
and then
add the row
of 1⁄2”x2" strips. Add the remaining eight squares to the
cover as shown.
3. From
the Time
to Flourish August
Cut Apart
sheet, trim
out the
Keep your
Face to the
Sunshine
border and
the Sunflower journaling block. (Make sure to reserve a 83⁄4”x61⁄4” piece
of the reverse print for the back cover of the album.)
4. Tuck a
length of
ivory seam
binding
around the
edges of
the album,
covering
the 1⁄2”x2"
strips of paper. Mat the
sunflower
journaling
block with
dark brown
cardstock.
Attach the
journaling block to the center of the album cover with
foam dimensional adhesive.
5. From the
August
Flourish
sheet,
fussy-cut
several
flowers and
leaves. Add
the fussy-cut
flowers and
leaves to the
journaling
block with
foam adhesive. Trim a section of the sunshine border
and add to the right of the flowers with foam adhesive.
6. Add an
Ornate
Metal Key
Hole to the
right edge of
the journaling block.
Make sure
to add mini
brads as
shown. Tie
a loopy bow
from ivory
seam binding and glue
to the right
edge of the journaling block. *To tie a loopy bow: Wrap
a length of ribbon or twine several times around three
fingers. Slide the ribbon off your fingers, pinching the
ribbon in the middle.
Tie a separate length of
ribbon or twine around
the pinched area of the
looped ribbon or twine,
making a small, tight
knot. Trim all ends.

7. Decorate the spine of
the Mixed Media Album
by attaching two Ornate
Metal Keys to a length of
ivory twine and gluing
to the spine. Create a
loopy bow from ivory
twine and glue to the top
of the spine as shown.

8. Decorate
the back
cover of the
Mixed Media
Album by
trimming
a piece of
reverse print
August Cut
Apart to
83⁄4”x61⁄4”.
Distress
the edges
and sponge
with Vintage Photo
distress ink.
Attach the paper to the back cover as shown. Place
the Sunshine border strip at the top of the album as
shown.
9. Create the
birthday lists
for the inside
covers using
a waterfall
mechanism.
Use 1 piece of
ivory cardstock cut to
61⁄2”x6" for
the base of
each "waterfall." (You need two pieces to create two waterfall
mechanisms.) Cut 12 pieces ivory cardstock cut to
41⁄2”x6". Score on the
long side at 1⁄2”. Fold
on the score line.
Attach double-sided
tape to the 1⁄2” tab.

pages when
you are finished. Repeat
the process to
create a second waterfall

12. Using
the Time to
Flourish 3
Cling Stamp
set, stamp

the twelve
(12) Time
to Flourish
Ephemera
Cards
selected
from the
pack with
the matching month.
Use brown
dye ink.
10. Place the first tab
at the top edge of the
61⁄2”x6" cardstock
base. Each waterfall
page will be 4"x6"
after gluing the tab in
place.
13. Once
the twelve
(12) cards
have been
stamped,
sponge the
edges with
Vintage
Photo distress ink.
11. Continue to
adhere the next five
(5) scored pages to
the base cardstock
to create a waterfall.

14. From
the Time
to Flourish
6"x6" Patterns and
Solids Pad
trim 12 solid
pieces of
paper, 4"x6"
each. Sponge
the edges
with Vintage
Photo distress ink.
15. Attach
the monthly
ephemera
cards to the
top of each
page of the
waterfall. If
desired, use
a decorative corner
punch to
punch each
corner.
18. Continue to
add the papers
to the waterfall
mechanism until
you have completed the January
to June section
for the inside
front cover of the
album. Add a piece
of printed paper,
cut to 4" x 6" to
the ivory base.
This will "peek out"
beneath the June
ephemera page.
19. Continue to
add the papers to
the waterfall mechanism until you
have completed
the July through
Dec section for the
inside back cover
of the album. Add
a piece of printed
paper, cut to 4"x6"
to the ivory base.
This will "peek out"
beneath the Dec
ephemera page.
20. Flip the
waterfall
mechanism over
and add strong,
double-sided
adhesive to the
back.
16. Attach a solid piece of paper to the back of each
waterfall page. Make sure to punch the corners, if
desired. Trim 12 strips of printed paper from the
6"x6" pad to 3⁄8”x6". Sponge the edges with Vintage
Photo ink and add them to the tab area between
each page as shown.

21. Attach the
January-June
waterfall to the
inside front cover
of the album, lining
it up 1⁄8” from the top
and left edges of the
cover.

22. Create
a pocket at
the bottom of
the waterfall
by trimming
a piece of
solid paper
to 2"x6". Add
adhesive to
the sides and
bottom of the
paper strip
and attach at
1 ⁄8
” from the
bottom edge
of the album
cover. Add a
decorative strip to the pocket as shown.
25. Use the
folder pages
included in
the Mixed
Media album
to create
seasonal
pockets.
23. Attach
the JulyDecember
waterfall to
the inside
back cover
of the album,
lining it up
1 ⁄8
” from
the top and
right edges
of the cover.
24. Create a pocket
at the bottom of the
waterfall by trimming a piece of solid paper to 2"x6".
Add adhesive to the
sides and bottom of
the paper strip and
attach at 1⁄8” from
the bottom edge of
the album cover.
Add a decorative
strip to the pocket
as shown.
26. Decorate
each pocket
with papers
from the
6"x6" pad.
Embellish the
pockets with
images cut
from the Cut
Apart sheets,
Decorative
Sticker Sheet,
or from the Chipboard Sheets. *Designer Tip: Save
scraps from the Monthly Cards and Tags Classes to
decorate your pockets.
27. Decorate
both sides
of one folder
for spring.
(Save the
other three
folders and
decorate for
summer,
fall, and
winter at a
later time.)
28. Create monthly pocket pages from the monthly
Flourish papers. To create the pocket, trim the Graphic
45 tab from the top of the Flourish sheet, making the
sheet 12"x12". Score the sheet at 6" from the left edge
and 81⁄4” from the bottom edge. Fold the bottom edge
up at the 81⁄4” score line. Fold the sheet on the 6" score
