Genetically Modified Foods
[Part 1 of 2]
Are they Safe?
A genetically
modified organism (GMO) is created by taking
genes from the
DNA of one species and artificially forcing them
into the genes of
an unrelated plant
or animal. Most

commonly, the
genes of bacteria and viruses are introduced into foods such as corn, soy,
canola, and cotton.
First introduced into the
food supply in the mid1990s, GMOs are now present in up to 80% of processed foods in the United
States.
labeling of GMOs on our food labels!
The U.S. government claims that genetically modified foods are no different from their natural counterparts
which have existed for centuries. But
this is more of a political rather than a
scientific claim. The radical changes
being made by bio-technologists could
never happen in nature. Because living
organisms are highly complex, genetic
engineers can't possibly predict all of
the effects of introducing new genes
into them.
Numerous scientists at the FDA consistently describe these new “foods” as
cause for concern. Many scientific
study results have echoed their concerns. Food allergies, asthma, reproductive failures, organ failure, and
higher death rates are just some of the
finding of animal studies. From the
safety tests that have been conducted,
the results are disturbing, to say the
least.

looking out for our best interests in
this case. We all need to educate ourselves about the dangers of eating
genetically modified foods.

Luckily, even if you’ve spent years eating
empty-calorie foods, you can still turn your
diet around and improve your health.
You’ll want to keep your body fueled throughout the day so your energy levels remain
steady; eating several small, nutritious meals
and snacks will keep you on an even keel.
Combining high-quality protein, fat and carbohydrates, especially fiber, works best to sustain energy over time and control cravings for
the empty-calorie foods we like to turn to under stress.
With a diverse array of fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, fish, lean meat and
dairy incorporated into regular meals and
snacks, your body will actually begin to prefer
healthier options. And you’ll find that is, indeed, “comforting.”

My program is about energy. As you
practice that new program, your goal
will be to increase your core energy by
creating balance in your body, in the
foods you eat, in your relationships, and
in the way you structure your time. All
of these should be carefully nurtured.
Are they making you feel more alive, or
are they draining your inner essence?
So, it is time right now to begin seeking
out these therapies that add more energy and carefully evaluating those things
around you that take away from your
constitutional life force.

GMO Labelling Market Dynamics, Forecast, Analysis and Supply Demand 2016-2026 For food Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) or sometime also defined as genetically altered or genetically manipulated refer to any food products which has been altered at the gene level. GMO food products are created by transferring genetic material from other species in such a way that could not occur naturally or through any other traditional breeding methods. In terms of nutritional parameters such as protein, calories, fiber, carbohydrates and others. GMO crops are substantially equivalent to non-GMO crops. GMO labelling is primarily applicable for prepackaged food, packaged food and for food additives. The impact on the consumption of GMO food products is safe or not on long term basis is still not clear. However, sometime it may lead to allergenic effects or toxicity. Due to this many countries are now considering trade regulations for GMO foods through labelling which is expected to support the GMO labelling market over the forecast period.
