More experienced committee members are helping to support WKH¶QHZUHFUXLWV·DQGWRJHWKHUZHDUHÀQGLQJRXUIHHWDQG moving forwards. Last year we had an excellent turnout at our key events such as Navratri, Diwali and Holi, this combined with our newly introduced activities such as our annual coach trip, and smaller social events, have all added to a varied and enjoyable events calendar. We are hoping to repeat the success of the 2014 Navratri festival by welcoming back the popular Swar Music Group, so I expect to be seeing you all joining in this year’s festivities. And don’t forget, the special heavily discounted, time limited offer, a Nine-day Navratri Pass, on sale well in advance of Navratri and for only £10. Buy them before the deadline (see the Navratri article on pages 6 and 7). Our new look newsletter has been praised considerably, along with our new branding, both of which help us look more professional and better appeal to potential sponsors. Going forward we plan to introduce two newsletters each year, and aim to tap businesses for sponsorship and additional support. We have a tiered sponsorship package and businesses can EHQHÀWIURPDGYHUWLVLQJWRRXUSOXVPHPEHUKRXVHKROGV KDYHWKHLUORJRVSURPRWHGRQ6DPDMHYHQWÁ\HUVDQGDW events, and receive promotional support that can lead to increased customer leads and brand recognition.
