John Kartje & the Sheil Center Staff Survivors of Sexual Violence Support Group for College Students Earlier this year, several universities in the Chicago area began working together to share best practices about sexual violence response and prevention on campus and to plan joint initiatives. One of the first programs that we will be offering together is a free nine-week support group for survivors of sexual violence from any of our campuses. To ensure privacy for students, the group will be facilitated by YWCA staff and held at the YWCA Uptown Office on N. Broadway (accessible by L/Red Line). The group starts on Tuesday, September 20, which is the day after classes begin at Northwestern.
