Missions Trips !
We were very blessed to be visited by a short-term Missions team in May from our
home church in North Carolina. The group of six men and two women from Southbrook
Community Church did a fantastic job on renovations to part of the transmitter building.
They completely cleaned and repainted five rooms, three bathrooms and hallways, fixing doors, lights, ceilings and floors. We also moved the lathe to the new machine shop
and got the old machine room ready to be the new kitchen for the Transmitter Site. The
renovations and improvements are in preparation for the 50th Anniversary celebrations
in August and for the new transmitter installation.
Not only did Dave get to work alongside the team for a whole week, but our family got to
have lots of fellowship with them in the evenings. It was great visiting with old friends
and making news ones. The team is already talking about when they can come back
next year, and hopefully bring more people down as well.
We are now looking forward to a visit in June by a missions team from another of our
supporting churches in California. This is a really exciting time for our family! In addition,
there are two other mission teams from Texas visiting in May and June to help with renovations and transmitter building preparations, plus interns and other
short term staff. There is a lot going on here at TWR Bonaire!
Furlough at the end of 2014
We’re also very pleased to let you know that we will be in the USA on
furlough mid-November 2014 to mid-February 2015. We will initially
visit North Carolina for 2-3 weeks before proceeding on to California,
Utah, Nevada, and possibly Idaho for the remainder of our furlough. As
we were most recently on the east coast before coming to Bonaire, we
plan to focus on the west coast on this trip. On the following furlough
(in 2-3 years), we will focus again on the east coast.
The Southbrook Community Church Missions team
The purpose of the time in the US is to reconnect with our ministry
partners, to share the TWR ministry, and to strengthen our financial
support base. (Continued on page 2)

Praises & Prayers
Furlough (continued)
We are very grateful and blessed by the
gifts sent by the families and churches
that support our ministry with TWR on
Bonaire. Thank you for partnering with
us in ministry.
The Pedersen Family: L-R Joshua,
Mari, Rachel, Dave & Lydia
As TWR missionaries, we rely on financial gifts to cover our monthly expenses,
such as housing, salary, utilities, taxes,
insurance, and so on. TWR requires us
to have $8,000 / month in pledged support. We currently have $6,300/month
which leaves us $1,700/month below our required level.
Note that TWR only counts pledged support. Recurring monthly gifts can be
pledged online at the link below, or with the
enclosed form. Pledges can be given quarterly or annually as well.

In addition to the Bonaire station, TWR
programs are aired on almost 700 stations throughout Latin America (in countries where Spanish or Portuguese are
spoken). TWR has partner offices in 12
countries operating as Radio Trans Mundial throughout the Americas, producing programs in 15 languages and dialects.
We were tremendously blessed this year to
host the annual Partner’s Conference right
here on Bonaire. Delegates from all across the
Americas and even Europe joined us for a
week of meetings and fellowship.
It was especially
exciting hearing
firsthand accounts
of lives changed
through the
broadcasts of the
Gospel from TWR
Bonaire.
TWR / RTM Partners Conference

One delegate
from Cuba shared
how he accepted Christ after hearing a broadcast. He shared the broadcasts with family and
other villages, eventually becoming a pastor.
The RTM partners also affirmed their support
of the Bonaire transmitter upgrade project,
pledging more than 10% of the total project
cost of $3.8 million.
We have much to praise our Lord
for and many needs to bring before Him.

Special Medical
Project
Joshua’s next medical trip to the
US will be in July. Our medical
insurance covers the medical
costs well but does not address
the travel costs. We still need
$1613 to meet the projected costs.
If you would like to help with these
expenses in additional to your regular support, please send a taxdeductible gift to TWR marked
“Pedersen Special Medical Project.”

Recurring and special one-time
gifts can be given at our staff web
page listed at our family web page
on the previous page. You can
