Elite Sports Academy
The Sports Academy at Cornwall College is for all students no matter what subject or
qualifications you are studying. You can start an Academy training programme while
studying full-time at the College that suits your sporting interests and level of ability.
Cornwall College has seven campuses across the county, including Falmouth Marine
School and Duchy Colleges and is rich with sporting talent. Our lecturers are trained to
the very highest standards in coaching and have specialist qualifications and experience.
Elite Sports Programme
Providing excellence in academic achievement and sporting performance for those of
county standard.
Sports Development Programme
The opportunity to specialise in a sport of your choice and work to develop and improve
your skills.
On both programmes you will develop individual and team skills, personal strength and
fitness and your ability to analyse your game. You will have five hours per week of sports
programme activities to include fitness sessions, coaching, theory lessons, nutrition, game
analysis and skills training.
