T-MultiCom ist eine neue multifunktionelle RemoteUnit die über zusätzliche
Anschlussmöglichkeiten verfügt. Damit
ist sie mehr als nur ein Handmikrofon und sehr
vielseitig einsetzbar. Neben einer 3,5 mm Klinkenbuchse für einen CT-Ohrhörer/Schallschlauch, besteht die Möglichkeit, über eine
robuste Nexus-Klinkenbuchse verschiedene CTHör- / Sprechsysteme anzuschließen. Die
Sprechtaste (PTT) auf der Frontseite bedeckt
fast 50 % der Fläche und kann problemlos mit
Einsatzhandschuhen oder dem Ellenbogen
auch unter Kleidung getastet werden.
Über zwei frei programmierbare Soft-Key-Tasten
kann – sofern vom angeschlossenen Funkgerät
unterstützt – die Lautstärke sowie die Stummschaltung des integrierten Lautsprechers gesteuert werden. Auch eine Belegung zur
Kanalumschaltung zwischen TMO / DMO-Modus

und Spezialkräfte werden sich wohl eher für das

Schon in der Standardversion verfügt die
CT-MultiCom mit IP65 (Staub- und Strahlwasserschutz) über eine hohe Schutzklasse (nach
EN 60529). Die CT-MultiCom ist auch lieferbar
in ATEX und entspricht dann der Schutzklasse
II 2 G Ex ib IIC T4 nach 94 / 9 / EG.

T-MultiCom is a new multifunctional remote unit
that comes equipped with additional terminals.
This means that it is more than just a hand microphone and is very versatile; together in addition to with a
3.5 mm pin jack for CT-Earphones / Soundtube, there is
also a facility for connecting different CeoTronics communication systems via a heavy-duty Nexus pin jack. The
push-to-talk button (PTT) on the front covers almost 50%
of the area and can be actuated without any problems with
work gloves or the elbows, even under clothing.
The loudness and the signal muting of the integrated loudspeaker can be controlled with two freely programmable
soft keys – if this is supported by the connected two-way
radio. Configuration for channel switchover between TMO /
DMO mode (the change from trunk to direct mode) or
emergency button (with protective ring) is also possible depending on the connected radio. Also dependent on the
radio device, the two-color LED provides clear optical feedback on the power supply of the CT-MultiCom, which is ensured through the rechargeable battery of the connected
two-way radio.
Im Rahmen der laufenden Umstellung des Deutschen BOS-Funks auf
Digitaltechnologie hat CeoTronics die Zubehörausschreibung für
Digitalfunkgeräte gewonnen: Das Land Berlin beauftragte CeoTronics
im August 2009, die Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben (BOS) mit Kommunikationszubehör für die neuen TETRADigitalfunkgeräte auszustatten. Die Ausschreibung garantiert ein
Mindestabnahmevolumen im Wert von ca. T€ 550. Das maximale Gesamtvolumen der abzurufenden Losgrößen beläuft sich auf rund
€ 3,85 Mio. Die Kommunikationssysteme für die Berliner Polizei, Feuerwehren und Rettungsdienste sollen innerhalb von 24 Monaten ausgeliefert werden. Das angebotene und bemusterte Produktspektrum
beinhaltet Hör- / Sprechsysteme für Feuerwehr- und Polizeibereitschaftshelme, Handmikrofone mit Ohrhörer, halb- / vollverdeckte
Kommunikationssysteme sowie Kommunikationssysteme zum Einbau in Polizei-Motorradhelme. Verschiedene Systeme wurden auch
in ATEX, das heißt für die Nutzung in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen, ausgeschrieben. CeoTronics konnte erneut beweisen, dass das
angebotene Produkt-Portfolio auch gegen eine internationale Wettbewerbskonstellation bestehen kann.
In the framework of the current conversion of German BOS radio to
digital technology CeoTronics has won an invitation to tender for accessories for digital two-way radios: in August 2009 the Berlin state
government commissioned CeoTronics to equip authorities and organizations with security duties (BOS) with communication accessories for the new TETRA digital two-way radios. The invitation to tender
guarantees a minimum order quantity of around €550,000. The maximum total volume of the lot sizes for call is around €3.85m. The
communication systems for the Berlin police, fire and emergency services are to be delivered within 24 months. The offered and sampled
product range contains communication headsets for firefighter and
police helmets, hand-held microphones with earphones, semi / fully
covert communication systems and communication systems for installation in police motorcycle helmets. Various systems were also
put out to tender in ATEX, in other words for use in areas with explosion hazards. Once again, CeoTronics was able to prove that its product portfolio can meet the challenge of an international competition
setup.
Experience pays off
On the back the CT-MultiCom has a heavy-duty rotatable
clip for fastening to clothing. Depending on the customer's
request, the CT-MultiCom can be ordered with PTTs in different colors: orange (optional), the warning color that can
be seen for a long way, is the color of choice for firefighters; police and special forces will tend to go for the
more inconspicuous black (serial).
Even in the standard version the CT-MultiCom has a high
protection class (in accordance with EN 60529) with of
IP65 (dust and hose proof). The CT-MultiCom is also available in ATEX and then conforms to protection class II 2 G
Ex ib IIC T4 in accordance with 94 / 9 / EC.

er Königlich Spanische Segelbund (Real Federación Española de Vela, RFEV) beauftragte CeoTronics, das spanische Segelteam mit
Kommunikations-Ausrüstung in den Phasen der Olympiavorbereitungen von 2009-2012 zu unterstützen. Die fortschrittlichen CeoTronicsHör- / Sprechsysteme sollen die Funkkommunikation der Crew untereinander, sowie die Einbindung des Trainers und der Teamleitung
während der Regatten weiter optimieren. Das Ziel besteht darin, die bestmögliche Kommunikationsausstattung zu liefern und diese optimal
auf die an Bord und im jeweiligen Wettbewerb vorherrschenden Bedingungen anzupassen.
Auch die Tatsache, dass CeoTronics bereits Erfahrung in der
Ausstattung von erfolgreichen Segelteams hat, spielte eine
Rolle bei der Auswahl des Kommunikationspartners. Schon
im Sommer 2007 gewann CeoTronics-Spanien, das deutsche
Segelteam "United Internet Team Germany" als Kunden.
Es geht um Hundertstelsekunden – dank Full-DuplexKommunikation hört die komplette Mannschaft zeitgleich die Kommandos und kann bei komplizierten
Segelmanövern sofort reagieren.
Die America's Cup-Yacht mit dem Namen Germany I, mit
Teambasis in Valencia, nahm im Sommer 2007 an dem Rennen zum 32. America's Cup teil; mit an Bord: CT-DECT Systeme für die Funkkommunikation innerhalb der Crew. Zehn der Crew-Mitglieder an Bord trugen je ein CT-DECT Multi mit angeschlossenem CT-Action Neckband
Headset. Der enorme Vorteil: Alle Teilnehmer im Kommunikationsnetz konnten gleichzeitig reden und Anweisungen hören. Zudem waren
stets beide Hände für die anspruchsvollen Segelmanöver frei.
Das Spanische Olympia-Segelteam befindet sich derzeit in der Erprobungsphase für die Auswahl der optimalsten Headsets zum Anschluss
an die CT-DECT Multis. Denn zwei Jahre nach der Teilnahme am America‘s Cup haben sich neben der Funktechnologie auch die Headsets
weiterentwickelt. Gefertigt aus neuen, noch leichteren Materialien sind diese nun noch komfortabler zu tragen. Selbst bei schnellen, hektischen
Bewegungen, wie sie sportliche Wettbewerbe an Bord einer Segelyacht mit sich bringen, bleiben die neuen, leichten Headsets stets in optimaler Trageposition. Zugleich bieten die neuen Fertigungsmaterialien eine weitaus höhere Robustheit. Auf See sind die „Umgebungsbedingungen“ eben besonders erschwert – doch dafür ist CeoTronics seit 25 Jahren der Spezialist.
he Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (Real Federación Española de Vela, RFEV) commissioned CeoTronics to support the Spanish
sailing team with communication equipment in the preparatory phases for the Olympics from 2009-2012. The advanced CeoTronics
communication headsets will further optimize radio communication between crew members, and the integration of the trainer and the
team management during the regattas. The objective is to supply the best possible communication equipment and to adapt it optimally to the
prevailing conditions on board and in each competition.
The fact that CeoTronics already has experience in
equipping successful sailing teams also played a part
in the selection of the communications team. In summer 2007 CeoTronics-Spain had already acquired the
German sailing team "United Internet Team Germany"
as customers.
It's about hundredths of a second – thanks to the full duplex
communication the whole team hears the commands at
the same time and reacts immediately during complicated
sailing maneuvers.
In summer 2007, the America's Cup yacht with the name Germany I, based in Valencia, took part in the race for the 32nd America's Cup. On
board as well: CT-DECT systems for radio communication among crew members. Ten of the crew members on board each wore a CT-DECT
Multi with a connected CT-Action neckband headset. The enormous advantage: all participants in the communications network could talk
and listen to instructions at the same time. In addition, both hands were free at all times for demanding sailing maneuvers.
The Spanish Olympic sailing team is at present in the trial phase for selecting the best headsets for connecting to the CT-DECT Multis.
Because just two years after participation in the America‘s Cup both radio technology and the headsets have developed further. Made from
new, lighter materials, they are now more comfortable than ever. Even with fast, hectic movements, such as those typical during sports events
on board a sailing yacht, the new lightweight headsets always stay in the optimal wearing position. At the same time, the new production materials are much sturdier. At sea environmental conditions are particularly severe - but CeoTronics has been the specialist for this for 25 years.

Nach den Spezialkräften aus Thüringen, haben nun auch die Sondereinsatzkommandos aus Brandenburg 50 ClipCom Digital-Systeme
geordert; auch das BKA Berlin wollte 37 von den neue Hör- / Sprechsystem haben. Und das hat auch gute Gründe: Das binaurale
CT-ClipCom Digital vereint alle Anforderungen und Wünsche, die
Sondereinsatzkräfte an ein Hör- / Sprechsystem haben: individuell geformte weiche Ohrpassteile aus Silikon, abgesetzte Bedienbarkeit
des Funkgerätes durch eine Mini-PTT, externe Mikrofone zur Übertragung von Umgebungsgeräuschen, einen digitalen Sprachprozessor
(DSP) zur Eliminierung von Umgebungslärm und Störgeräuschen, Integration von Handys in das Kommunikationssystem über Bluetooth
– eben halt – all inclusive.
Following the special forces in Thuringia, the special commandos
from Brandenburg have ordered 50 ClipCom Digital system; also the
federal Criminal Police Office of Germany (Bundeskriminalamt=BKA)
in Berlin ordered 37 of the new high-tech communication systems.
And there are good reasons for this: the binaural CT-ClipCom Digital
unites all requirements and wishes that special forces have in a communication system - individually formed soft silicone earpieces, remote operability of the two-way radio by means of a mini-PTT,
external microphones for transmitting ambient sounds, a digital
speech processor (DSP) for eliminating environmental noise and interference, integration of cell phones into the communication system
via Bluetooth – in other words, all inclusive.

The German armed forces (Bundeswehr) have ordered 300 CT-CombiCom headsets from CeoTronics. The Bundeswehr's choice fell on the
binaural variant in which radio messages can be heard in both ears.
The background to the procurement of this headset type is the growing number of foreign assignments in which robust communication
headsets are demanded in particular. Where required, the configuration of the headsets can be changed in seconds by means of quickaction plug-in and screw connections.

In Norwegen gewann CeoTronics deshalb eine Ausschreibung zur
Ausstattung der Feuerwehren in Oslo und Umgebung mit professionellen Hör- / Sprechsystemen zum Anschluss an die neuen TETRAATEX-Funkgeräte. Zum Einsatz kommt das weltweit bewährte
CT-ContactCom, das Original Schädeldeckenmikrofon von CeoTronics,
welches in vorhandene Helme eingebaut wird. Zu den Hör- / Sprechsystemen wurde auch eine entsprechende Anzahl passender ATEXPTTs geliefert.

Lärmschutzhelm-Systeme für einen sechsstelligen Euro-Betrag. Für
25 Mitarbeiter, die bei Wartungs- und Testläufen der Jets dem Extremlärm ausgesetzt sind, vertrauen die Briten auf die Ausstattung,
auf die bereits die Deutsche Bundeswehr und auch EADS in Deutschland setzen: Das CT-DECT JetCom-System ermöglicht selbst bei
einem Geräuschpegel von 140 dB(A) noch eine sichere Sprachübertragung. Desweiteren hat die Österreichische Luftwaffe, die bereits
fast 50 Lärmschutzhelm-Systeme im Einsatz hat, erneut rund 50 weitere Kommunikationssysteme geordert.
BAE Systems plc, the British partner in the consortium for the production of the Eurofighters has ordered noise-canceling helmets from
CeoTronics for a six-figure sum. For 25 employees that are exposed
to extreme noise during maintenance and test runs of the jets the Britons are relying on equipment that the German armed forces and
EADS in Germany are already using: The CT-DECT JetCom system
enables secure voice transmission even with a noise level of 140
dB(A). In addition, the Austrian air force, which already uses about
50 noise-canceling systems, has placed a new order for around 50
more communication systems.

In early 2009 Björn Schölling, a CeoTronics employee, successfully
defended his dissertation and was awarded a doctorate by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at
Darmstadt Technical University. In his dissertation he occupied himself with digital signal processing methods for reducing sound interference on mobile robots. With the help of a newly developed method
robots can now specifically locate a person addressing them, in spite
of considerable sound interference, look at them and maintain sight
contact during further position changes. "The technology for digital
signal processing is increasingly being used in communication headsets from CeoTronics; this is why we are pleased to have an expert
with this knowledge working in our company", is how Berthold Hemer,
Research & Development Director at CeoTronics, sees Dr. Schölling's
success in the doctorate examination.
Der CeoTronics-Mitarbeiter Björn Schölling hat im Frühjahr 2009 erfolgreich seine Dissertation verteidigt und bekam den Doktortitel des
Fachbereichs Elektrotechnik- und Informationstechnik der TU Darmstadt verliehen. In seiner Doktorarbeit beschäftigte er sich mit digitalen Signalverarbeitungsverfahren zur Störgeräuschreduktion auf
mobilen Robotern. Mit Hilfe einer neu entwickelten Methode können
Roboter nun trotz erheblicher Störgeräusche gezielt eine sie ansprechende Person orten, ihr den Blick zuwenden und den Blickkontakt
während weiterer Positionsänderungen halten. „Die Technologie zur
Digitalen Signalverarbeitung hält immer mehr Einzug auch in die Hör- /
Sprechsysteme von CeoTronics; daher sind wir froh, eine solche Kapazität in unserer Firma zu haben“, kommentiert Berthold Hemer, Vorstand Forschung & Entwicklung bei CeoTronics, die erfolgreiche
Promotion von Herrn Dr. Schölling.

Die Brandenburger Polizei hat derzeit zwei sogenannte Tragschrauber im Einsatz: Klein, wendig und um ein zehnfaches (!) kostengünstiger als übliche Hubschrauber, unterstützen die flinken Zweisitzer
aus der Luft die Polizei bei Kontroll- und Beobachtungsflügen sowie
einfachen Sucheinsätzen. Ebenso innovativ wie das Fortbewegungsmittel, ist auch die Kommunikationslösung von CeoTronics. Das neue

At present, the police in Brandenburg are deploying two so-called
gyrocopters: small, maneuverable, and around 10 times (!) cheaper
than standard helicopters, the versatile two-seaters provide aerial
support for the police in control and observation flights, as well as in
simple searches. Just as innovative as the means of transport is the
communication solution from CeoTronics. The new CT-ClipCom Digital
in the variant with ear microphone is the optimal solution for the police

With a concentrated attitude and a disciplined team performance the
CeoTronics soccer team was able to repeat its success from 2007.
The traditional tournament in the company from the town of Rödermark was won decisively by the team from CeoTronics AG: the team
ended the tournament without losing a game!!! A goal ratio of 16:5
set the standards. Once again, the CeoTronics team showed what
makes the difference: Concentration on the point, discipline in tactical
behavior and consistence in utilizing chances.
Mit einer konzentrierten Einstellung und disziplinierter Mannschaftsleistung hat das CeoTronics-Fußballteam den Erfolg von 2007 wiederholen können. Das traditionelle Turnier innerhalb der Unternehmen
aus Rödermark entschieden die Kicker der CeoTronics AG klar für
sich: Mit einem "clean sheet" wie man im Mutterland des Fußballs
sagt, ist das Team durch das Turnier gekommen. Das heißt: Alle
Spiele wurden gewonnen!!! Eine Torbilanz von 16:5 setzte Maßstäbe.
Somit zeigte sich wieder was die Mannschaft von CeoTronics ausmacht: Konzentration auf den Punkt, Disziplin im taktischen Verhalten
und Konsequenz in der Chancenauswertung.

Schon zu Beginn des Jahres 2009 orderte ein großes britisches Ground Handling Unternehmen 50
CT-DECT GateCom Systeme für drahtlose Pushback-Kommunikation. Die Systeme kommen auf den
größten Londoner Flughäfen Heathrow und Gatwick zum Einsatz. Neben offensichtlicher Bewegungsfreiheit sind die Vorteile vor allem die zusätzliche Sicherheit durch ständige Vollduplex-Kommunikation
aller Beteiligten und die Möglichkeit auf eine Kabelverbindung einzelner Teilnehmer an das Fluggerät
zu verzichten.
At the beginning of 2009 a major UK ground handling company ordered 50 CT-DECT GateCom systems for wireless pushback communication. The systems are in use in London's largest airports,
Heathrow and Gatwick. Along with obvious freedom of movement, the advantages are above all the
additional safety through the permanent full duplex communication of all participants, and the facility
for doing without a cable connection to the aircraft for individual participants.

Andreas Rebmann, früher u. a. im Außendienst für den Süden
Deutschlands zuständig, ist seit Anfang Juli als Area Sales Manager
für den Verkauf in Süd- / Ost-Europa verantwortlich. Xavier Domont
verstärkt seit 1. August 2009 die Abteilung Forschung & Entwicklung
im Bereich Digitale Signal Verarbeitung. Maren van Baal begann am
1. September 2009 ihre Ausbildung zur Industriekauffrau. Peter
Hügel, 2007 in die Abteilung Marketing Service bei CeoTronics eingestiegen, wurde mit Wirkung ab 1. Juli 2009 zum Leiter dieser Abteilung befördert. Frau Beata Oluk verstärkt seit Anfang Oktober das
Service und Reinigungsteam in Rödermark. Bei der CT-Video GmbH
verstärkt Thomas Burkardt seit Anfang August die Entwicklungsabteilung. Andreas Herrmann begann zum gleichen Zeitpunkt seine Tätigkeit in der Qualitätssicherung (QS) in Lutherstadt Eisleben.
Andreas Rebmann, previously responsible for southern Germany in
field service, among others, has been responsible as Area Sales Manager for sales in south / eastern Europe since the beginning of July.
Since August 1, Xavier Domont has reinforced the R & D Department
in the area of digital signal processing. On September 1, 2009 Maren
van Baal started vocational training as an industrial business management assistant. Peter Hügel, who joined CeoTronics in 2007 in
the Marketing Service Department, was promoted to manager of this
department with effect from July 1, 2009. Since the beginning of October Ms Beata Oluk has been supporting the service and cleaning
team in Rödermark. Since the beginning of August, Thomas Burkardt
has strengthened the Development Department at CT-Video GmbH.
At the same time, Andreas Herrmann started work in quality assurance (QA) in Lutherstadt Eisleben.
