Padunungan is not new to me.
I remember that I used to watch Padunungan when I was
in high school. I STILL remember the time when I was there in the
audience supporting my school during the cheerdance
competition. Watching Padunungan once again surely brings
back memories. Moreover, I’m quite lucky to have the chance to
feature it through this piece of work.
WINNERS
Here are the winners of the different co
contests joined by high school students coming from
the different schools in Pangasinan.
Truly, the culture of Pangasinan will continue to be
known and promote because of Padunungan. Through it, the
Pangasinense youth are nourish with rich culture, lifeways,
history, and literature of their own province and through
this nourishment they may become proud and effective
members of the community.
This once in a year event will truly advocate that the
learning of a child is not limited inside a classroom but
“education is not mere academics”.
