noch nie
Exceptional increase in demand for Bavarian
products on the global market
ie Unternehmen im Freistaat haben 2011 einen neuen
Außenhandelsrekord aufgestellt. Insgesamt wurden
Waren im Wert von rund 160 Milliarden Euro exportiert
- das sind 11 % mehr als im Vorjahr. Das Verarbeitende Gewerbe erreichte eine Exportquote von 52,9 %.

n 2011 the companies in the Free State of Bavaria have
achieved another export record. Goods with a total value
of approximately 160 bn EUR were exported, which is 11 %
more than in the previous year. The manufacturing industry
reached an export rate of 52.9 %.
Die bayerischen Exportschlager waren Fahrzeuge, Maschinen,
elektrotechnische und chemische Erzeugnisse. Zusammen dominieren diese vier Warengruppen das bayerische Auslandsgeschäft
mit einem Anteil am Gesamtexport von rund drei Vierteln.
Motor vehicles, machinery, electro-technical and chemical
products were the Bavarian export hits. Together these four
product groups dominated the Bavarian export business with a
share of approximately three-quarters of total exports.
Wichtigster Exportmarkt waren die USA (15,4 Mrd. Euro), gefolgt
von China (14,2 Mrd. Euro) und Österreich (13,8 Mrd. Euro).
Ein besonders hohes Absatzwachstum erreichte die bayerische
Wirtschaft im vergangenen Jahr in Russland (+ 41,7 %), in der
Türkei (+ 30,8 %) und in Südkorea (+ 25,6 %). Der Hauptanteil
der bayerischen Exporte (54,9 %) geht aber nach wie vor in die
Länder der Europäischen Union.
The USA were the most important export market (15.4 bn EUR),
followed by China (14.2 bn EUR) and Austria (13.8 bn EUR). In
the previous year the Bavarian economy achieved a particularly
high growth rate in Russia (+ 41.7 %), Turkey (+ 30.8 %) and
South Korea (+ 25.6 %). However, the largest share of Bavarian exports (54.9 %) continues to go to the countries of the
European Union.
Bayern hat auch deutlich mehr EU-Importe (+12,9 %) abgenommen. Somit profitieren auch die europäischen Partnerländer
vom Aufschwung in Bayern. Insgesamt stiegen die Importe des
Freistaats 2011 um 12,8 % auf gut 146 Milliarden Euro.
The share of Bavarian imports from the EU has clearly increased
(+ 12.9 %). Thus the European partner countries have also benefited from the Bavarian economic recovery. In 2011 the total imports to the Free State rose by 12.8 % to almost 146 billion EUR.
Rückblickend war 2011 für die bayerische Wirtschaft ein
außerordentlich erfolgreiches Jahr. Bereits im Frühjahr konnte
der Einbruch von 2009 ausgeglichen und seither mehr als kompensiert werden. Die Euro-Schuldenkrise und das schwächere
Wachstum in einigen europäischen Ländern gehen zwar auch
an der bayerischen Wirtschaft nicht spurlos vorbei. Sie profitiert
aber weiterhin vom hohen Wachstum in wichtigen Schwellenländern. Die Unternehmen im Freistaat gehen daher für 2012
von einem vorübergehenden Nachlassen des hohen Wachstums
aus, erwarten insgesamt aber eine Fortsetzung des Aufschwungs.
Looking back, 2011 was an extremely successful year for the
Bavarian economy. Thus the sharp drop in 2009 could already
be offset in the spring and has been more than compensated for
since then. Although the Euro debt crisis and the slower growth
in some European countries have certainly also affected the Bavarian economy, it continues to benefit from the high growth in
important threshold countries. The companies in the Free State
therefore expect a temporary slowdown of high growth and an
overall continuation of the upswing.
