Das neue PALMCASE-mini ist derzeit das kleinste PDA-Hardcase. Trotzdem übertrifft
es sogar noch die Funktionalität des Armor II. Durch das vollständig überarbeitete
Design bieten sich dem Anwender nun noch mehr Möglichkeiten, seinen PDA in jeder
Umgebung zu nutzen.

Für unterschiedliche Anforderungen
sind zwei Varianten verfügbar. Sie
unterscheiden sich in Material, Ausstattung und Preis.
Grundsätzlich ist die gesamte Zubehörpalette mit jeder Variante einsetzbar.

Die günstige Einsteigervariante, das PALMCASEmini (c) wird gleich zusammen mit der
Fahrzeughalterung geliefert. So kann es unkompliziert am Fahrrad- oder Motorradlenker
angebracht werden und vielen Freizeitanwendern
Freude bereiten, da sie nun Ihren PDA auch bei Wind
und Wetter einsetzen können.
Die Industrieversion ist speziell für den professionellen Einsatz ausgestattet. Die Oberschale ist
aus einem extrem schlagfesten, säure- und
lösemittelbeständigen Kunststoff gefertigt. Die
Verschlüsse sind gegen unbefugtes Öffnen
verschraubbar.
The low priced consumers version PALMCASE (c) is
supplied with the bicycle-/ motorbike mount. Thus it
can be easily fastened to the handlebar of a bicycle or
motorbike. Great for costumers who enjoy using
their PDA in their spare time, since now they can do
so even in a rugged environment.
The industrial version is designed specifically for the
professional user. The upper shell is made of
extremely shock resistant plastic, also resistant to
acids and solvents. The tamper proof closures can
be secured from unauthorized opening with screws.
To satisfy different needs two versions of
the PALMCASE-mini are available. They
differ in material, equipment components and price. The complete range of
accessories can be combined with each
version.

Schachtmodule ermöglichen eine Erweiterung

finden dann Geräte Platz, die über I/O-fähige
SD-Kartenschnittstellen betrieben werden
können.
So lässt sich aus einem handelsüblichen PDA
ein hochwertiger Industriescanner machen. In
gleicher Weise lassen sich auch GPSPod Units offer the possibility to expand the
internal space. The front pod is for devices that
can be operated with I/O-compatible SDinterfaces.
This way the standard PDA becomes a highquality industrial scanner. GPS antennas can
be attached to the front in the same manner.

Dieses 2m lange Kabel schafft eine
Verbindung zur GPS-Maus und zum
Spannungswandler. Es hat auf der einen Seite
einen wasserdichten Stecker, der an das
PALMCASE-mini angeschlossen wird.
Die Steckdose ermöglicht die Verbindung mit
der Motorradelektrik. Sie wird entweder direkt
an die Batterie angeschlossen oder
anderweitig verbunden. Lassen Sie ggf. diesen
Einbau von einer Fachkraft vornehmen.
Die GPS-Maus wird seriell mit dem PDAAnschlusskabel verbunden und gewährleistet
eine schnelle und zuverlässige Navigation.
Auch eine TMC-Version zum Empfang von
Stauinformationen ist verfügbar.
This two meter long cable creates a
connection to the GPS-Receiver and the
power converter. It has on one end a
waterproof plug which can be connected to
the PALMCASE-mini.
The assembly socket enables the connection
to the energy circuit of the motorcycle. It can
be attached directly to the battery.
If necessary, ask a skilled employee to perform
the assembly.
The GPS-Receiver connects via the PDACable to the serial port of the PDA and ensures
a fast and precise navigation. A TMC-Version
for traffic information is also available.

Palmcase Armor II offers even more options to PDA users. There is now more
space inside to accomodate CF cards or additional batteries in the hardcase.
Due to its modular construction it can be adapted to suit individual needs.

Radfahrer und Wanderer unabhängig von einer
Stromversorgung navigieren können.
Im Modul befindet sich ein leistungsstarkes GPSGerät, das seriell mit dem PDA verbunden wird.
Es kann daher in Verbindung mit nahezu jedem
PDA benutzt werden, der eine serielle Schnittstelle
besitzt.
Durch das spezielle Steckermodul
am PALMCASE-mini wird die
Verbindung zur Freisprecheinrichtung hergestellt, die auch
den Anschluss einer GPS-Maus
ermöglicht.
Das System ist passend für den
Qtec2020 und baugleiche Geräte
wie MDA II, XDA II, und Qtec
2020(i)
Das Modul ist nicht einzeln erhältlich, da es nur in
Verbindung mit dem zum PDA passenden

to establish a connection between
the PALMCASE-mini and a handsfree phone system; a GPS-mouse
can also be attached. The system
is compatible with the Qtec2020,
MDA II, XDA II, Qtec 2020(i) and
similar handhelds.
Im GPS-Modul befindet sich zusätzlich ein Akku,
der eine Stromversorgung des Moduls für
mindestens 10h gewährleistet. Da das GPSModul nur in Kombination mit einem
Steckermodul erhältlich ist, bietet sich die
Kombination mit der Dockingstation an.
The GPS-Unit was developed, so that bicyclists and hikers can navigate without depending
on an energy supply. Inside the module is a high performance GPS-Receiver, which
connects to the serial port of the PDA. Hence, it can be used with nearly every PDA, which
has a serial port.

entnehmen.
Mit dem stabilen RAM-Mountsystem
ist eine sichere Befestigung an jedem
Fahrzeug möglich. Bei Verwendung
eines passenden Proclips von Brodit

The unit is not sold separately, due to the fact, that it can only be used with the connection
module of the corresponding PDA.
The GPS-Receiver is coupled with an extra storage battery, which ensures an energy supply
for at least 10 hours. Because of only being sold together with a plug unit, it is possible to
combine this system with the Dockingstation.

In vielen Fällen ist ein Festeinbau des PALMCASEmini ausreichend bzw. sogar nötig, z.B. um es vor
Diebstahl zu schützen. Hier kann auf die
Autohalterung und das aufwendige Steckersystem
verzichtet werden. Daher ist die Festeinbauvariante
sehr viel preiswerter. Gerne beraten wir Sie auch
bei der Sicherung des Systems mit den
entsprechenden Spezialschrauben.

Sometimes a permanent mounting of the handsfree phone system is enough; sometimes it is even
necessary in order to prevent thievery. In this case
the car holding and the rather complex connection
system are not necessary. Thats the reason why the
PALMCASE-mini hands-free phone system
(permanently mounted) sells at a better price than
the detachable version. We gladly provide advice
considering the protection of the system with the
suitable security screws.

Mit der USB-Dockingstation braucht der PDA
auch beim Datenabgleich nicht mehr aus dem

Ladestrom benötigen, ist in manchen Fällen
eine Sonderversion der Dockingstation nötig,

customized Dockingstation is needed. This
version also integrates the standard recharge

be taken out of the car holder
with only one hand.
In dieser Rückwand, befindet sich ein
CF-Card-RFID-Reader, der über ein

It is possible to mount the car
holder with the approved RAMMount-System and/or the Proclip-System from Brodit.
This is a rear panel with an integrated
CF-Card-RFID-Reader, which is
connected to the CF-Slot of the PDA via
a flat cable. The range of the Reader
adds up to 10mm and the necessary
energy is provided by the PDA.
This rear panel is not larger than the
standard backside of the PALMCASEmini.
