Also known as Onychomycosis, nail fungus is caused by tiny
organisms called dermatophytes that live in wet areas such as
showers and swimming pools. These dermatophytes embed in the
small space between the nail and the nail bed causing the protein
in the nail to be destroyed. Without the protein, there is no protection
