Distribution is born from a producersfarmers couple who felt in love with
potato. So, they both decided to
create Bayard Distribution in order to
commercialise their own brand. With
a partnership of a producers group,
the best potatoes are selected to meet
customer expectations.
Upmarket specialist of potatoes, we
focus on various packagings and on
main products: potatoes “spéciales”
(Ratte, Blue Vitelotte from Santerre,
“Juliette des Sables®” from the Bay
of the Somme, Blue Belle, Andean
Sunside, Perupas), the salad potatoes
(Princesse Amandine, Charlotte,
Celtiane, Chérie…), the tender (baked or
fried potatoes).
Nowadays, we bring an answer to
current lack of time with the microwave
potatoes, “La Sélection Bayard”. It’s to
combine a packing method to a “terroir”
potato ready to be cooked within 7
minutes by microwaves in order to offer
to modern consumers original taste,
quickness and convenience.

wie z-B. die „besonderen Kartoffeln“

Salatkartoffeln (wie Princesse Amandine,

Auswahl“) an. Dieses erfolgreiche und

We now have 20 years’ experience in
growing and packaging baby leaves
(Wild Rocket Salad, Mesclun salad,
Lambs lettuce, Baby spinach, Red
Chard…). With 3 500 t/year, we are
specialized and EUREPGAP certified.
We produce during the whole year:
8 months in Picardie (France), 12
months in Portugal and we have got
partners in Spain and in Italy. We supply
industrial markets, growth markets,
and supermarkets in France, but also
in England, Benelux, Ireland, Portugal
and Spain. We now have different
packagings adapted to different markets:
125g,200g,500g,1kg.
Since few months we produce a new
range : mini-vegetables (bunch) to
catering. Picardie and Portugal both
offer a good oceanic climate for a good
quality production to supply the northern
countries, and to a growing extent the
southern countries also.
Seit 20 Jahren spezialisieren wir uns
im Anbau und in der Verpackung von
jungen Blattsalaten (Rucola, MesclunSalat, Feldsalat, Baby Spinat, Rote
Beete). An unseren Produktionsorten
in der Picardie (Frankreich) und in
Portugal erzeugen wir eine EUREPGAPzertifizierte Jahresproduktion von
3 500 t für Industrie, Wachstumsmärkte

unwashed potatoes,all varieties, all
sizes, for export. Our recent installations
for washing and conditioning enables
us to offer all types of packaging, from
traditional big bag and 25kg, to smaller
bags (2.5kg, 5kg,etc..).
To supply our customers throughout
the year, we buy potatoes in all regions
of France, and also import potatoes
from southern Europe and Israel, from
february. We also provide onions.
