Ski enthusiasts in Slovenia recently voted Kronplatz top of the list on their popularity scale.
A poll taken by a Slovenian radio station asked listeners to name their favourite ski resorts in
the neighbouring countries of Austria and Italy. Thanks to the quality and diversity Kronplatz
offers, Slovenian listeners ranked it first amongst all ski resorts.

sportelli della biglietteria, mentre l’attrezzatura adatta si può noleggiare presso il
noleggio sci e snowboard che gode di un
vasto assortimento. Gli sciatori che vogliono
migliorare il proprio stile o genitori che desiderano un’assistenza ottimale per i loro figli
sulle piste, possono rivolgersi alla scuola di
sci e snowboard e chi non vuole portarsi in
hotel i propri scarponi da sci bagnati, li può
lasciare insieme a sci e bastoni presso il
deposito sci e ritirarli asciutti e riscaldati il
giorno successivo. Per chi ama far festa e stare
in compagnia e per le gole assetate, ci sono
gli Après-Ski, dove si può concludere in
bellezza la giornata trascorsa sulla neve.

of the prerequisites for a completely successful day on the slopes at the valley station
in Reischach. Alongside the direct access to
the Kronplatz slopes, the valley station for the
cable car there offers a whole range of services that make the skiing experience not only
unique, but also extremely comfortable.
A ski pass and the right equipment can be
found on the spot in the ski pass office and
well-stocked ski hire shop. Skiers looking to
improve their style, or parents who need the
right supervision for their children, can confidently turn to the local skiing and snowboarding school, and anyone who doesn’t
want to take their wet ski boots back to the
hotel with them can leave them with their skis
and poles in the ski depot and pick them up
again nice and dry and warm again the very
next day. Party-lovers and thirsty mouths are
catered for by the après-ski scene and can
round off a perfect day’s skiing at the longest
bar in South Tyrol.

Dolcetti di pasta lievitata
BUCHTELN
Sweet rolls made of yeast dough
ZUTATEN
25 g Hefe
100 ml Milch
1 Pck Vanillezucker
2 EL Marillenschnaps
40 g Butter (geschmolzen)
Marillenfruchtaufstrich
40 g Zucker
2 Eier
1 TL Orangenschale
300 g Mehl
1 Prise Salz
ZUBEREITUNG
Zerbröckelte Hefe und Zucker mit lauwarmer Milch vermischen
und 15 Minuten zugedeckt bei max. 35° C aufgehen lassen.
Eier, Vanillezucker, Orangenschale und Marillenschnaps vermischen und leicht erwärmen. Dampfl, Mehl und Eiergemisch
vermischen, zerlassene Butter und Salz dazugeben und Teig
gut durchkneten, bis er Blasen wirft. Dann 15 Minuten zugedeckt aufgehen lassen. Den Teig 1 cm dick austreiben und mit
einem runden Ausstecher ausstechen. Mit dem Fruchtaufstrich
füllen und gut verschließen. Die Buchteln mit flüssiger Butter
bestreichen und in eine Auflaufform mit der Verschlussstelle
nach unten nebeneinander schichten. Mit einem Tuch bedeckt
nochmals an einem warmen Ort 15 Minuten aufgehen lassen,
dann etwa 30 Minuten bei 180° C backen. Die Buchteln
auseinandernehmen und noch warm servieren.

PREPARAZIONE
METHOD
Mescolare in una ciotola il lievito sbriciolato e lo zucchero con il
latte tiepido. Far riposare il tutto al caldo (max. 35° C) per ca. 15 minuti.
Mescolare le uova, lo zucchero vanigliato, la scorza d’arancia e
il liquore e scaldare leggermente. Mescolare la biga, la farina e
il composto d’uovo, aggiungere il burro sfuso e il sale e impastare
la massa fino a che non si formeranno delle bolle. Poi coprire e far
riposare per altri 15 minuti. Stendere la pasta non troppo sottilmente (ca. 1 cm) e ritagliare con una formina rotonda dei cerchietti.
Riempire la pasta di marmellata e richiuderla bene. Immergere i
Buchteln nel burro sfuso e disporli, con la chiusura verso il basso,
gli uni accanto agli altri, in una pirofi la. Farli riposare ancora per
15 minuti coperti in un luogo caldo. Infornare a 180°C per ca.
30 minuti. Scomporre i Buchteln e servirli ancora caldi.
Crumble the fresh yeast into lukewarm milk. Add the sugar,
cover, and leave to rise for 15 minutes. Ensure the temperature
is no higher than 35°C. Mix the eggs, vanilla sugar and orange
peel and warm slightly. Mix together the starter dough, the
flour and the egg mixture, adding the melted butter and salt.
Knead the dough until bubbles begin to develop. Now cover
and leave to rise for 15 minutes. Roll out the dough to a thickness
of 1 cm and cut out circles with a round cutter. Fill each round
with fruit spread and seal tightly. Spread melted butter over
the Buchteln and stack next to each other in a casserole dish with
the seams facing downwards. Cover with a cloth and leave to
rise once more in a warm place for 15 minutes. Then bake at
180° C for 30 minutes. Separate the Buchteln and serve warm.

circondario si trova a San Lorenzo: raggiunta la malga Hospalm, dopo una piacevole
sosta, il percorso di discesa a valle si snoda
per ben 7,5 km.
Un evento particolare è la slittata notturna
al chiaro di luna, con party e vin brulè, a
Villa Ottone, organizzata settimanalmente
sulla pista da slitta Bauhof.

enjoyed at the Lercher Alp toboggan run
in the immediate vicinity of Bruneck or the

Stefansdorf, for example. One of the longest toboggan runs in the area is located in
St. Lorenzen: once you have put the climb
to the Hosp Alp behind you, there’s nothing
more to stand in the way of a speedy descent
along the 7.5 km-long downhill run.

die Ortschaft Pfalzen. Im sonnenverwöhnten

dem Tal ausbreitet, ist Eislaufen sozusagen
Nationalsport.

eins mit der traumhaften Winterlandschaft zu

consente di divertirsi in un tipico paesaggio
invernale. Gli amanti di questo sport, non
possono perdere l’occasione di andare a pattinare anche a Falzes, il paese sulla Strada
del sole, situato in posizione idilliaca, dove il
pattinaggio su ghiaccio è diventato quasi “lo
sport nazionale”.
Non c’è posto più bello per far scivolare le
lame … che sul laghetto ghiacciato di Issengo
e sulla pista attrezzata presso la zona
sportiva di Falzes!
