On tbe 15th inst,, ab. natives Toungie and Sammy, stole a quantity of rations from Joseph Jackson's team, near Narrabine, Williams District, Next morning a party consisting of Joseph Jackson, William Turnstile, George Clamp, George Smith, and ab. nat. Cracko, went in pursuit. After following them about 30 miles East they came on them while they were asleep, and secured them and returned to Bandding where they cam])ed for tbe night; they also found 4 guns, with powder, shot, and caps, which they kept in their possession; during tbe night of tbo 17th these two natives escaped carrying away ono double barrel gun; they took tbe bobbles and bell of the horses, and next morning Jackson and Smith were left at the camp in charge of one woman while tbe rest went after their horses. Shortly after the woman wanted some water, and Smith went to the pool with her, and while he was standing on a rock watching the woman Toungie stepped from Conditional Eelease Holder.
