From the Desk of the Director…. I cannot believe it is March and Spring is almost here. Here are a few updates of what will be going on in the next few months. 1. As many of you know our renovations are finally complete. Our next steps will be to order the exercise equipment. We will start out with a treadmill and recumbent bike. The other item we are working on is the replacement of the large activity room floor. A grant has been written for the replacement. Please understand the flooring is expensive and may take time to be replaced. 2. Our Annual Dinner Dance is scheduled for Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Harmar House. This year’s event will be the kick off to our 50th Anniversary celebration. We are hoping everyone will attend this wonderful evening of food and music. We are also asking for your help. This year we will be having a cookie table at the event. We are in need of volunteers to bake for us. If you are interested, please see myself or any staff member and let them know. We will need the cookies at our offices by Thursday, March 31. 3. Last, the Board of Directors and Staff want to thank everyone who donated to our Mail Appeal. You support of our programs and services were overwhelming. As always should you have any questions, concerns or ideas, please come and see me. Remember my door is always opened. Sincerely, Stefanie March 2016 Page 2 Center Closures RCAC will close at 1 pm on Friday, March 25 in observance of Good Friday.
