A student recently exclaimed to me, “Mrs. Winter, all the classes are my favorite; everything
is wonderful. I just love it here!”
That’s the greatest compliment I could have as Superintendent. Our kids are our greatest gift; they are our legacy for
future generations. That’s why we are so excited about the 2015-16 school year. God is doing some incredible things
at TCS and students’ lives are being impacted for all eternity. This year we have an anticipated record enrollment of
660 students, kids are still enrolling daily! Our theme verse Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your
heart, as working for the Lord,” sums up our philosophy to heartily serve the Lord and do everything with excellence!
We are so committed to honoring the Lord that we continue to commit to raise the bar to the highest standards, for our
kids and faculty.
In addition to our 95% college acceptance rate, and 1 to 4 years above national norms for our test scores, we continue
to raise the bar of excellence by improving our programs: academically, spiritually and through our extra-curricular
offerings.

From June 28 - July 12, 2015, a team of 24
TC students and six adults experienced an
incredible short term missions trip to the
Dominican Republic. The team partnered
with Students International participating in various occupational ministries: Dentistry, Social Work, Education, Special Education, Sports,
Micro Finances, and Community
Health. The Dominican Republic
experience can be described as a
time of allowing God
to take each individual
to places (literally,
spiritually, and emotionally) where they
had never been
before. In summary,
the time in the DR will continue to
impact the lives of the team members
for many years to come.

Parents Prayer Community
TCS values the importance of prayer as a part of who we are as a school and community. Prayer
is essential and central to the Christian life and we believe central to success of TCS, the students, staff and mission. Will you join together to pray for Turlock Christian? We believe lives and
whole communities can be changed through parents joining in prayer. Moms, dads, students and
grandparents are all welcome to come and pray. Consider participating in praying for our school
community.
Weekly Prayer: Every Tuesday, 7:30am – 8:30am / TCS Library (come and go as you are able)
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2
