Die Schaukelstühle aus
Schmiedeeisen entstanden in
Zusammenarbeit mit dem
Künstler und Schmied Brett
Moten aus Reno/Nevada.
Der Stuhl ist aus 150 Jahre
altem Fund-Eisen hergestellt
aus einem Ort in der Sierra
Nevada aus der Zeit des
Goldrausches. Darin stecken
rund 400 Stunden Arbeit.
Einzigartige Gestaltung und
Sitzkomfort sind nur ein Teil
der Arbeit – 36 Teile mussten
zusammengesetzt werden. Wir
haben Dennis Dusek aus
Placerville/Kalifornien zu danken, der über ein Dutzend dieser Teile hergestellt hat

Wrought iron rockings:
A collaboration with Artist/
Blacksmith Brett Moten
(Reno, Nevada). The chair
is made from 150 year old
wrought iron recovered from
an abandoned 1860’s Gold
rush era site in the Sierra
Nevada mountains of Ca. 400
hours from start to finish.
Unique joinery, design, and
comfort were just a part of
building this chair. 36 tools
were created to complete the
chair. We were generously
assisted by Dennis Dusek of
Placerville Ca. who created a
dozen or more fullering tools
needed to complete the chair

hatches and doors installed
flush with the adjacent
elements, the Corten steel
façade was truly a challenge.
