GLOW GIRL GREEN JUICE 1 head romaine 1 cucumber 1 burdock root 1 apple ENZYME GLOW 3c pineapple 1c mango 1c spinach 1 handful mint GET FRESH 4 stalks celery 1 green apple 1 lime (with peel) Handful spinach Handful mint POST WORKOUT GLOW 4 celery stalks 1 green apple 1 cucumber ½ lemon (with peel) ROOT CLEANSER 1 small beet 4 large carrots 1 small apple 1 small knob ginger MOTHER NATURE’S GATORADE 5 celery stalks 1 cucumber 1 green apple 8 ounces coconut water (add to juice) THE GREEN GODDESS 3 celery stalks 2 romaine stalks 1 large handful spinach 1 large handful kale 1 red bell pepper (or carrot) THE HANGOVER (CURE) :) 1 cantaloupe 5 carrots Juice cantaloupe & carrots, pop in blender with 8 ounces coconut water and 1 tbs of coconut oil. Blend until smooth. CELLULITE BE GONE 2 large grapefruit 1 large orange 1 medium lemon 1 cup pineapple SUPERGREEN ENERGIZER 1 bunch parsley 5 handfuls spinach 1 handful sprouts 1 cucumber 1 lemon (with peel) Fresh ginger (to taste) 2 Complete the recipes by adding in your choice of greens! Tip: I blend my greens with the liquid base first, to ensure I don‟t have any spinach chunks. So add greens,(p.6) liquid, blend. Then add the ingredients from the recipe of your choice & blend until smooth. For extra spice I like to brew with Good Earth Sweet „n Spicy tea! Rarely will you find me without a mason jar of something in hand. From my special metabolic blend to my favorite green smoothies, on this page I‟ll share with you my staples for getting the glow. You‟ll notice that I often use organic maca root, bee pollen, royal jelly, spirulina, and Sun Warrior protein. These are all superfood “supplements” and optional. This simple drink does it all! I put the ingredients in a mason jar and shake it up. Feel free to omit the agave, or add Stevia. 1tsp raw agave 1/2 tsp (whew!) cayenne Juice of one lemon 16 ounces of water WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY : SMOOTHIE OR PUDDING I enjoy this blended as a smoothie, and I also use this as a base for chia pudding. Just whip up the smoothie ingredients, pour into a glass dish and fold in 2-3 tbs of chia seeds. Let set in the fridge for 20 minutes, and voila..healthy pudding! Great for breakfast, topped with fresh berries and coconut flakes. Blend: 1/2 c organic raspberries, 8 ounces natural coconut water, 1/2 frozen banana, 1 tbs dried coconut flakes, 1 tbs raw cacao powder, 1 tsp coconut oil IT AIN’T EASY... being green. Oh how I love/hate my green sludge. Potent flavor, very easy to blend Medium flavor, semi-easy to blend KALE Kale is a dark leafy green vegetable that shares similar benefits of spinach and is packed with minerals, anti-oxidants, beta-carotene and fiber. All hail kale! Kale comes in many varieties, so look for the richest color for the richest in nutrients! SPIRULINA Spirulina is truly an elite superfood! Spirulina is actually a sea algae, and is one of the most protein dense foods on the planet. It is also packs a powerful mineral punch, and is loaded with B vitamins and vitamin C. For the ultimate green smoothie, add spirulina + leafy greens! Neutral flavor, very easy to blend SPINACH Popeye was a smart man! Spinach, along with all dark leafy greens are loaded with nutrients and can assist in the fight against osteoporosis, heart disease, colon cancer, arthritis, and other diseases. Runner(s) Up: Chard, Collard Greens, Dandelion Greens, Mustard Greens. For those new to green smoothies, try romaine to begin with. Then graduate to spinach and other dark varieties!
