Cutting: Pint Jars: 46–5" x 5" squares Pint Jars 1 To make one Pint Jar: (A)Press 4-1½" Background squares in half on the diagonal (or draw a line on the diagonal). Lids: 2–3" x width of fabric strips Background 4-1½" squares (B)Layer 2-1½" Background squares on the upper left and lower right corner of 1-5" x 5" Jar square, right sides together. Sew on the diagonal lines. Trim ¼" from the seam lines. Press away from the Lid strip. Make 2 strip sets. Cut into 1½" wide units. Cut 46 Lids. 1½" x WOF press Lid Cut 46. press 3" x WOF Sew the Lids to the Pint Jars. Press away from the Jar. Make 46-5" x 6" with seams. 1½" x WOF Pint Jar Make 46. 5" x 6" with seams 1½" Make 2 strip sets. 5" x 1½" with seams Assemble the Quilt 4 Row A: Sew 7-Pint Jars and 6-2½" x 6" Background rectangles together as shown to make one row. *** Press away from the Pint Jars. (C)Add the 2-5" x 55" Border strips to the sides of the quilt. Add the 2-5" x 57" Border strips to the top and bottom of the quilt. (D)Sew the 7 Binding strips end to end.
