8 April 2014 A high five for Handmade Wallpaper* Handmade with Leclettico Wallpaper* Handmade returns to the Leclettico gallery for its fifth, freshly minted celebration of craft, creativity and collaboration at Salone del Mobile. The success of last year’s spectacular Handmade presentation at Leclettico has turned San Gregorio Docet into Milan’s newest go-to design district and this year’s bar-raising, must-see event has been produced in collaboration with the gallery’s founder Claudio Loria. Once again an international cast of star designers, craftsmen and makers has been assembled to produce one-off wonders, so prepare to be amazed, beguiled and charmed as: Vincenzo De Cotiis turns the table on a wondrous set of Jaguar wheels Sony celebrates creativity with sub-atomically sharp screens The Ace Hotel’s Lovage serves up life-enhancing elixirs Bally lets loose with hell-for-leather skis Todd Bracher pops a corking jacket We unveil the world’s best-designed (and tastiest) new neighbourhood And Michael Anastassiades creates beautifully dressed windows with Brioni for Handmade’s first off-site installation. In partnership with Wallpaper* Handmade at Leclettico is open from Tuesday 8 April to Saturday 12 April at via San Gregorio 39, Milan.
