How-To implement YOOCHOOSE Recommendations for Magento:
1. Visit the Magento Connect Store (http://www.magentocommerce.com/magentoconnect/yoochoose-recommendation-engine.html) in order to get the extension Key for
installing the Yoochoose Recommendation Extension. Click on "Install Now“.
2. Choose your Magento-Connect Version (1.0 / 2.0), accept the license agreement and
click on "Get Extension Key".
3. Copy the Extension Key to your clipboard and follow the next step.
4. Login to your Magento Backend click on "System", "Magento Connect" and then
"Magento Connect Manager".
5. Paste the Extension Key from your clipboard under the tab "Install New Extensions" and
click on "Install". The Extension will be automatically installed.
6. To get the extension running you need to create an account for the recommendation
service. To do so visit:
https://admin.yoochoose.net/registration_step_1.html?template=magento&solution=ebl
7. Please provide your contact details and check your mail to finish the registration.
8. After finishing the registration process copy "License Key" and "Customer ID" to your
clipboard. You don’t have to adjust the configuration afterwards, because the Magento
Plugin has predefined settings.
9. In order to configure the Yoochoose Recommendation Extension login to your Magento
Backend and click on "System" - "Configuration".
10. Under the tab Yoochoose you will find the configuration screen of the extension. Copy
the "License Key" and "Customers ID" (which we copied from the Yoochoose
Administration Backend) to the appropriate fields.
Additionally you can define here how many recommendations should be displayed and
which Up- and Cross selling Block should be used. You are now ready to use the
Yoochoose Recommendation Service. (Note if you will see an error page, just logout and
login again to solve this error).
