From Our Director
Main Office / South Euclid

I really hope you like our new logo as much as I do! As you know, early
this year, we changed our business name after adding Mayfield Heights
to our service area, which triggered the need to make a number of other
changes. I am very happy to finally be able to unveil some of them in this
issue of our newsletter.

50+ Dances:
The most obvious is the redesign of our newsletter. We’ll still include all
the information you need every month but in a fresh, colorful and easierto-read format. At the top of the newsletter is our new logo, which
represents many months of deliberation as we chose a symbol which
reflects the roots our agency has in the community and the energy and
vitality of those we serve. We also selected a tagline that succinctly
states what we do: Providing essential services since 1978. The next
step will be our Website redesign and update.

Official Volunteer Handbook Reaches
Publication!
YOUR ONLINE EXPERTISE CAN BE OF HELP
TO US!
For the first time in many years, the Community
Partnership on Aging has a volunteer handbook which
is being distributed electronically or in person to our
active volunteers. Representatives from local
community groups that work with CPA on an on-going
basis will also receive handbooks. Volunteer
handbooks are utilized by many organizations in the
area as a tool for both veteran and new volunteers.
Helpful information and important policies are included
in the handbook. When you receive your copy, please
review it and return the acknowledgement form to
Corinne Dunn as soon as possible. Special thanks
to volunteer Sue Grinnell who was of great assistance
in the development of this handbook.
The Community Partnership on Aging is looking for a
volunteer who is interested in assisting with online/Web
marketing and networking, including Etsy (etsy.com)
and Facebook. This is an opportunity that can easily
be accomplished remotely and via email/phone
communication.
Volunteers would be required to
complete an application, interview, and reference
check.
Training would be provided as needed.
Interested? Call Corinne Dunn, Volunteer
Coordinator, at 216-291-3902.
Attention Community Groups, Students, and
Individuals of All Ages!
Immediate Volunteer Need: An Activity
Coordinator (pinochle at MH Community Center
on Wednesdays and bridge at Highland Heights
Community Center on Fridays) is needed. Call
Corinne at 216-291-3902 if you are interested.
Volunteers are still needed to assist older adults with
home repairs and yard work during the summer
months. Skilled and unskilled individuals are both
welcome. Possible projects might include: weeding,
bush trimming, and light painting.
Call us for more information!
