Rosary for Peace
Join us Sunday, October 10th we will meet immediately following the 7:30 AM Mass and pray the Glorious Mysteries. If you would like to lead a decade at
either of these occasions, please contact the office THIS
week.
In the afternoon at 3:00 we will be hon-
ored by the presence of Stanley Villavicencio from the
Philippines who will be sharing a special message regarding his life-after-death experiences—his blessings
and graces received through the Divine Mercy. He now
serves as a faithful servant around the world.

We commend several members of our
parish youth under the guidance of
Steve Johnson for holding recently a
car wash and raised $349. Cassie and Mario Martinez
were a lot of help to their endeavor.
The Treasure Box outreach of some IHM parishioners is
doing well. The involvement of Pat Byrne, Mike Mulligan, Amy Parr, Joe Tipane, Tricia Jarrett and Martha
Johnston has been very instrumental.
We thank Jose Luis Sanchez and the members of the
Movimiento Unidos en la Fe for putting on outreach and
prayer gatherings for our Spanish Speaking community
and Regina Chisholm and her crew for last Friday’s
Bunco Fun Night.
All IHM members, let us continue helping our parish
move forward with our time, treasure and talent. It is
all a part of our stewardship as disciples of the Christ.

Youth Celebration Mass
Tired of the lies the world is feeding us, adults and children, about how to obtain true love? Come to the St.
Maria Goretti Celebration! Be fed spiritually through the

Goretti, an inspiring girl who chose love and purity at all

Life Walk
Life Walk ‘10...Reach hearts and minds through education and outreach. Life Perspectives’ Life Walk ‘10 is on
Saturday, October 30th, 10:30 AM, at Mission Bay Park,
De Anza Cove. The Life Walk is a family-friendly fundraiser that supports life-affirming education and outreach to youth and adults. Register outside after

Mission Sunday Collection
This collection is the weekend of October 23rd and
24th.
United with the Catholics of the World at the Table of
the Lord, we recommit ourselves to our vocation,
through Baptism, to be missionaries. Our prayers and
Eucharistic celebration next Sunday are directed in a
special way toward our brothers and sisters throughout
the world who are waiting to hear the joyous “Good
news” of Jesus. Our offerings, through the Society for
the Propagation of the Faith, will support the work and
witness of those who selflessly give up all for the sake
of our lord and His Gospel- The local priests, Religious,
and lay catechists who daily provide loving service to
the poor and suffering of the developing World.
Please be as generous as possible in helping this great
cause!
Anointing Mass
Our parish celebrates the Sacrament of the Sick on
Thursday, October 14th at 6:30 PM. Everyone is invited
to join us; however, the anointing will be for those suffering from a serious illness or condition.
If you know someone who is sick or homebound, please
bring them to this special Mass.

el próximo Domingo serán dirigidos en una forma especial hacia nuestros hermanos y hermanas por todo el

Nueva” de Jesús.
Nuestras ofrendas La Sociedad de la Propagación de
Fe. Apoyaran el trabajo y serán testigos de quien da
todo por el bien de Dios, y el evangelio.
Los Sacerdotes locales, religiosos y laicos catequistas
que a diario proveen amoroso servicio al pobre y al sufrido del mundo.

Agradecemos y reconocemos a los
miembros jóvenes de la parroquia que
la dirección de Steve Johnson por patrocinar un lavado de coches y recolectaron 349 dólares. Cassie y Mario Martínez fueron mucha ayuda a su
esfuerzo.
La ayuda de Treasure Box a algunos feligreses ha sido
un éxito. La participación de Pat Byrne, Mike Mulligan,
Amy Parr, Joe Tipane, Tricia Jarrett y Martha Johnston
ha sido muy instrumental.
Damos las gracias a José Luis Sánchez y los miembros
del Movimiento Unidos en la Fe para poner sobre reuniones de evangelización y la social para nuestra comunidad de lengua española y Regina Chisholm y su equipo para noche de diversión de Bunco del viernes pasado.

La caminata por la vida perspectiva será el sábado, 30

Anza Cove. Este evento recauda fondos, es un evento
