TODAY: You Are Invited to Hear Author and Speaker Sherry Barron All are
invited to hear Sherry Barron (Tracey Anderson’s sister) speak about her and her
husband Doug’s mission work with CRU—Military Ministries and life story. Sherry
will be sharing at 9:30 am Sunday School time in the Fellowship Hall TODAY,
October 12. Please come hear how trials led to redemption and restoration.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Our pastors bless us with their time,
talent, prayers and so much more. Remember to take time to tell them, in your own
special way what they mean to you. Thank you John, Jeremy AND Sue for your
hearts that reach out and touch us in a BIG way! We love you!
Please Help! On October 15-19 a group from New Life will be traveling to Fort
Thompson, South Dakota to minister and feed into the lives of many that live on the
Crow Creek Indian Reservation. It is one of the poorest counties in the U.S. and has
left the people struggling with hopelessness. Here is a way we can help right here
from Alexandria. If you can help supply any of the needs below, if would be greatly
appreciated. All items can be dropped off at church during regular office hours and
on Sunday. Look for the giant box marked “DIAMOND WILLOW”. Thank you in
advance for your generosity! PLEASE SEE INSERT FOR A LIST OF NEEDS.
Remember to Pray: for those who will be going on the Diamond Willow Mission
Trip. They will head out in the church’s “Cool Bus” on Wednesday evening on
October 15 and return Sunday, the 19th.
NO AWANA or YOUTH GROUP on Wednesday, October 15 due to M.E.A.. Both
will resume the following week.
4-Wheeler Class: for kids and young adults. Sign up at Ollie’s as well as pick up the
book and CD for the Sunday, October 19 class from Noon-5pm.
Women’s Coffee Club - Last One of the YEAR! Let your Love of the Lord spark
conversation with other ladies. There are two different times and locations on
Thursday, October 30. First at Caribou North at 6:30 am and then at Travelers at
2:00 pm. Come for the coffee and stay for laughter!

For Sale: The church is selling it’s 48” cut, 20 horse 2011 Husqvarna riding lawn
tractor for $750. It has 250 hours usage. Anyone who is interested, please call the
church office.
Devotional Thoughts: There are spots still left to contribute your thoughts to a New
Testament scripture. To add your name please sign up in the Welcome Center.
Those who have signed up and not turned it your devotional thoughts, please do so
as soon as possible!
Mark your Calendars for the Love INC Time, Talent and Treasure Fundraiser held on
Thursday, Oct. 30th from 6-9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria. We are seeking
donated items to fit all ages (including gift baskets and donations of service) to
support live/silent auctions. To donate, please call Love INC at 759-3022 or contact
a Love INC rep in your church. All donations are due by Oct. 20th and will be great
contributions to reach our fundraising goal! Thank you!!
