Good News. Great Joy. Operation Christmas Child is an important ministry to
children around the globe. Every shoebox gift you pack helps Samaritan’s Purse to
reach children worldwide with the good news of God’s love and the true meaning of
Christmas. The drop-off for the boxes is November 17—23. Details are at the table
in the Welcome Center. If you would like to help take in the boxes that come in from
the area, please contact Kelly Burnham at 815-9668.

Fun, Good Food and Great Laughs are waiting for you on December 12 as New
Life Christian Church celebrates "Thanksmas"! The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with a
turkey sandwich meal, followed by a variety show starting at 7:00 p.m. headed up
by Karol Klug and topped off with dessert. This fun-filled event is a missions fundraiser with the funds raised being split between Pine Haven Christian Bible Camp
and the two upcoming trips - one to India to visit Usha Rees and Aby Kallimel and
one to Mexico to visit David Garcia. Hope to see you there. Please sign up at the
Welcome Center so we know how much food is needed.
A NEW Women’s Bible Study will meet each night that AWANA meets. It will meet
6:25 - 8:00 pm Wednesday nights in the Sanctuary. There will be an informational
meeting on Wednesday, November 19 to decide on curriculum. If you have
questions, please call Kathleen Simonson at 970-580-9764.
Dance Practice started Thursday, November 6 and will continue each Thursday
through December 11 (no practice Nov. 27 due to Thanksgiving) from 6:30 – 8 pm
for the “Thanksmas” Variety Show. If you wish to be a part of the dance portion,

Military & College Care Packages New Life would like to send out Christmas Care
Packages to our Military and College students. Please drop-off or call in addresses
of family members that are in the military as well as address updates of current
college students so we can send them some goodies while they are hard at work.
Food! Fellowship! Faith! A new study is starting that will answer your questions
Biblically from God’s Word. It is for those of any age, and will meet at 3226 Latoka
Beach Rd SW in Alex on Saturday’s 5:30—8:00 pm.
Hospitality Groups Ladies, if you are new to the church or have never been added
to one of our Fellowship serving groups please let either Norma Sorenson (7634233) or the church office know you would like to be added. You can help with
treats on Sunday morning. This is an important ministry.
Mailboxes: Would you like a mailbox? Please sign up at the Welcome Center. It is
a wonderful communication tool within the church body.
