Praise Focus
On our thanksgiving celebration we will be
taking a thank offering to top up our treasury.
Phil. 4:4-7 – Rejoice in the Lord always. I
will say it again: Rejoice! Let your
gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is
near. Do not be anxious about anything but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus.

This past month has been packed and full
of great training moments. A personal
highlight for me (Sam) was to change pace
on a weekend men’s’ retreat put on by a
local ministry called the Mark Centre…my
dad and I attended together, it was an
opportunity to grow together in a way
many people never get to have as son and
father! I have an awesome dad.
Please pray:
• For 3 TREK teams heading first
week of November to Thailand and
France
• For complicated visa processes to
come together in due time.
• For 4 families and 2 singles on
Jornada our two year mission
apprenticeship program – they
complete their training in
November as well.
• For our family as the kids have
been back to school, that they will
be encouraging friends in their
respective relationship circles.
• For Sam as he teaches in the
Central Canada TREK program in
Winnipeg on Oct 27-28
With love,
Sam
