The Staff and the Doctors at Teehey Lane Medical Centre welcome all the new and
existing patients. We appreciate the help and support received by our patients during
improving our services. We will continue to provide high quality care services to our
patients.
New Gynaecology Services: We are happy to inform you that we are providing Gynecology Services as mentioned in our previous newsletter. The Electronic Prescription
Service will also be available by this month allowing patients to receive their medicines
or appliance from the place they choose.

DR. M. SALAHUDDIN
Dr. M Salahuddin has been associated with NHS over four decades and in his presence, the surgery, he owned went through various transformations to become an excellent medical centre
today – recognised through various awards. He himself had been awarded twice as GP of the
Year 2008 & 2011. In 2011, he acquired Teehey Lane Medical Centre and brought revolutionary
changes by introducing new services and widening of surgery space, providing more convenience to the patients.

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE (EPS)
The EPS is an NHS Service. It gives you the chance, how your GP send
your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from. You will not have to visit your GP Practice to pick your paper prescription, neither wait longer at pharmacy - GP will send it electronically to the place you choose.
Over 75?
If you are patient aged
over 75, you will have
a named GP and dedicated phone line .
Your GP will ensure
you receive access to
all appropriate services and coordination
of care with various health and social
professionals. Please feel free to call

Get the jab, get flu safe
September will be the time for those at
greatest risk from flu to protect themselves and their families, get flu safe
with a free flu jab. Flu is highly contagious virus which anyone can catch.
Those at greater risk from flu includes
people aged 65 & over, pregnant
women, and those with health conditions such as
severe asthma, diabetes, chest and heart conditions.
FLU clinic starts from September. Contact your
surgery to arrange an appointment. It’s quick, safe
and free for those most at risk from the virus.

Muhammad Ahmed has joined the surgery as a
Business Manager. Apryl Williams has joined the
practice as a Reception Trainee.
Quality at Teehey Lane Medical Centre- Like previous years,
this year we have achieved over 97% of Quality and Outcome targets on clinical
and organisational indicators.
Patient Information Leaflets –We are regularly updating and improving
information leaflets. You can now downloaded these information leaflets .
Online Appointment Booking and Prescriptions—You can now order
prescription and book appointment online, also make electronic prescriptions. Simply
visit our website.
Flu Vaccination Programme 2014-15. The programme is expected to start by
late September. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.
