Course Overview
This teaching course is designed to enhance clinical practice skills by
providing training in interpreting coronary CTA examinations under
the supervision of teaching faculty.
The lecture contents are aimed to prepare the attendee to sit the
CBCCT Board exam with view to obtaining certification. There will be
simulated mini mock Board exam at end of lecture course for
attendees to assess their knowledge.
The course contents and hands on workshop can also be
documented to form part of SCCT requirements for Level 1 and Level
2 training. Many of the workstation cases include coronary catheter
angiography correlation.
Certificate of Proficiency
Attendees will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency that includes
the mentored number of cases reviewed on workstations, for use in
credentialing which can contribute to the case requirements specified
in the ACFC/AHA/SCCT Level 1 and 2 requirements for Clinical
Competence in Cardiac Imaging with Computed Tomography and
Magnetic Resonance. The planned syllabus will also help attendees
fulfil some of the requirements for Level A and Level B certification for
