(PAUSE) Welcome to Good Shepherd for the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time. For our government leaders and those of other nations: that God will guide them in confronting the challenges of our day to bring peace to our world…we pray… 3. For a deepening of gratitude: that we may recognize all the ways that God has shown love for us and be filled with awe and gratitude for God’s gifts…we pray… 4. For a spirit of hospitality and thanksgiving during our Jubilee year as we offer appreciation for all our volunteers …we pray… 5. For a greater respect for the sanctity of life through all stages and varying abilities …we pray… 6. For all who serve our nation and local communities, and for those in the medical profession caring for others: that God will keep them from harm and guide them in protecting others…we pray… 7.
