Lector:
Good morning / Good afternoon. Good Evening. (PAUSE) Welcome to
Good Shepherd for the feast of The Dedication of the Lateran Basilica.
We extend a special welcome to visitors and new parishioners.

Father, you called your people to be your Church. As we gather
together in your name we pray for our needs and the needs of the
world.

continue to grow in faith and build community in the light of Christ …we

2. For those elected to public office: that God's word guides their decisions to

their right to worship God in public and in peace …we pray…
4. For the Bishops of the United States, as they meet this week: that God may

5. In thanksgiving for the success of Service Saturday that our parish efforts
will help the poor, marginalized and forgotten …we pray…
6. For all who serve and protect others around the world and in our community,
that God will keep them safe …we pray…
7. For the sick, (including):
and all on our parish prayer list, that God’s healing love may strengthen them
and restore them to good health …we pray…
