Contact WSU International Programs for more information. ❏ $50 (U.S.) Application Fee: You will be required to pay the nonrefundable application fee while completing your online application. If you submit your application by mail, you will be required to pay the application fee in the form of check or money order drawn from a U.S. bank and made out to Washington State University. ❏ English Language Proficiency: Submit official results of the TOEFL, IELTS or other approved English proficiency examination. To determine if you are eligible for a waiver of the examination requirement, please read the English proficiency information on our webpage: www.international.wsu.edu or contact us. ❏ Certificate of Finances: This is required if you plan to attend WSU on a F-1 or J-1 visa. The Certificate of Finances and bank letter must provide proof of finances (money) to cover the amount of tuition and fees in U.S. dollars for the first academic year of study. The bank letter cannot be older than six months from the date of application. (If applying to the Global Campus, the Certificate of Finances is not required.) ❏ Passport: Submit a copy of the identity page of your passport or national identification card. If you will be accompanied by dependents (wife, husband, or child) you must provide a copy of each person’s passport identity page or national identification card. (Not required for admission to the Global Campus) ❏ Foreign Credential Evaluation: The student must provide complete, official academic records from secondary (equivalent to high school education in the U.S.) and post-secondary schools. Records should include courses taken, grades received, and degrees or certificates earned. Secondary school transcripts (equivalent to high school education in the U.S.) if not originally in English must be translated into English. Post-secondary school transcripts must not only be translated into English, but also must be evaluated for U.S. credit. The WSU Office of International Programs will perform a credential evaluation for you. You must send official translated and original documents to our office.
