winning ways
• Washington State has amassed 40 victories during the past six
seasons, third to USC and Oregon among Pacific-10 Conference
teams. WSU’s five-year record is 40-26.
• WSU recorded three straight 10-win seasons, 2001-03, only the
second Pacific-10 team to ever have three 10-win seasons in a row.
• The Cougars recorded four 10-win seasons in a seven-year span,
1997-2003. Only one other Pacific-10 team has had four 10-win
seasons in a seven-year span and WSU is the only team to do so
since the formation of the Pacific-10 Conference in 1978.
