Lifetime Member by awarding him or her a chance for two tickets to “An Evening with Stephen King” at
the Manatee Players Theater on January 29, 2015. Patron Members will be awarded one chance and
Lifetime Members 2 chances. This campaign runs from November 1, 2014 - January 9, 2015.

 Print the registration form from the web site and mail the form and a check to the address shown on

put it in the FORBL drop-box located in the lobby.

How to join our
campaign
The Friends of Rocky Bluff Library have launched a membership campaign to attract members at the
Patron and Lifetime membership levels. As an incentive, from November 1, 2014 through January 9,
2015, FORBL will thank each person who joins or renews an existing membership as a Patron Member $50, by awarding him or her a chance for two tickets to the sold-out event, “An Evening with Stephen
King” at the Manatee Players Theater on January 29, 2015. In addition, FORBL will thank anyone who
joins at the Lifetime Member- $100, by awarding him or her two chances to win. Also, anyone becoming
a member at the $100 level, or above, will have their name placed on our Giving Tree. The campaign will
run from November 1, 2014 to January 9, 2015. The winner of the contest will be announced at
12 PM on January 10, 2015.
To join FORBL during this special campaign or at anytime, you may register online at
www.FriendsOfRockyBluff-org and submit your membership dues using a credit card through PayPal. You may also print the form found online and either mail the form and a check to the address
shown on the form or take an envelope with check/cash and the completed form to the Rocky Bluff Library in Ellenton and put it in the FORBL drop-box located in the lobby. The upcoming Friends of Rocky
Bluff Fall Newsletter will have a clip-out registration form and there are registration forms available at
Rocky Bluff Library on the Friends table in the lobby.
“An Evening with Stephen King” is being presented by the Manatee Library Foundation as a fundraiser to support a new library system for the six libraries in Manatee County. The event sold out within
3 weeks with tickets selling for a minimum of $200 apiece. The evening will begin with a catered reception, then Mr. King’s presentation followed by a book-signing of his latest book, Revival, purchased onsite only. The venue is small and therefore open to only 370 people, so it will be Stephen King “up close
and personal” and a once in a lifetime opportunity for his fans and his only public appearance in our area
in 2015.
