The Morristown District Children's Fall Festival will be
held on October 25th from 2-5 pm at Myers Pumpkin
Patch in Bulls Gap. For complete details and contact
information, please click here. Please let the Children's
Coordinator know you are bringing children from your
congregation by replying here.
2015 Holston Annual Conference At-Large Members
were elected at the Morristown District Conference on
Sunday, September 7th. To see a complete list, please
go to this location.
Early Response Team Basic Training. An Early Response
Team Basic Class will be conducted Saturday 25 October,
2014, 9 am - 5 pm, at Cokesbury UMC N Campus, Cokesbury
Center, 9919 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922 (use the church
offices entrance). This course is a requirement for anyone wanting
to be certified to participate in Holston Conference ERT responses
to disasters.
Early Response Team Recertification Training. An Early
Response Team Recertification Class will be conducted
Saturday 25 October, 2014, 9 am - 1 pm, at Cokesbury UMC N
Campus, Cokesbury Center, 9919 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN
37922 (use the church offices entrance). UMCOR requires ERT
members to re-certify every three years. Recertification is a
requirement for any member wanting to be able to continue to
participate in Holston Conference ERT responses to disasters. The
alternative to recertification is to attend again the 8-hr basic
course.
Students for either class will need to bring a three ring binder,
pen/pencil, yellow highlighter, and $25.00 cash or check made to
Holston Conference for Safe Sanctuaries background
check. Lunch will not be provided.
Registration for either class is required, and closes Wednesday 22

Seventh Annual Gospel Singing Jubilee at Hills

Bewley's Chapel, Lord's Acre Sale, October 4th,
Supper 4:30-6:30; Sale at 7 pm
Noe's Chapel, Morristown will have their Lord's Acre
Sale on October 11th beginning with breakfast. The
sale will have items such as BBQ, canned goods, peach
and apple butter, homemade cakes and other desserts
and there will also be a silent auction.
Shiloh, Rutledge will have their Lord's Acre Sale on
Saturday October 11th beginning with breakfast from
8-9:30 am. The sale will start after breakfast and
continue through lunch which will be served from 11
am-1 pm and into the afternoon.
