This is an opportunity to provide Christmas gifts and dinner for families and individuals that otherwise cannot afford these extras. The tree will be set up November 16th. Each “ornament” will contain a number and information for a needed gift or food card. Here are the simple steps: 1. Pick up an ornament (or two!) 2. Sign your name on the associated number line of the master list 3. Purchase the gift card(s) 4. Attach the ornament to the card/envelope 5. Deliver to St. Paul’s no later than 12/7 We’ll take care of delivering them. We strongly recommend gift cards for both the gifts and the food. Why?? To allow parents to shop for their children and to shop for the family’s favorite Christmas dinner. This is an extra special benefit that many of these parents/individuals do not get to experience often. Please help us spread the spirit and experience of Christmas to those less fortunate. If you have any questions, please call Leslie Dawson or Mary Waddington. 7:30 AM Holy Eucharist Chapel Men’s Breakfast Fellowship Hour Centering Prayer Fellowship House Parish Hall Chapel 9:30 AM Holy Eucharist Church 11:00 AM 1:00 PM 6:30 PM Fellowship Hour Rummage Sale Setup Youth Confirmation Mtg Parish Hall Parish Hall, LCR Youth Center 7:30 AM 8:30 AM 8:30 AM FOR MORE INFO ON ANY EVENT: 934-2324 Nov 2 Nov 14 Nov 8-9 Nov 9 Nov 15 Nov 23 Nov 30 Dec 3-17 Dec 21 UPCOMING EVENTS All Saints’ Day Concert: John Hillebrandt Piano: Transcendental Hymn Variations Rummage Sale Veterans Day Blessing Honduras Crab Feed Advent Festival First Sunday of Advent Weds Advent Series Lessons & Carols FINANCIAL REPORT FOR SEPTEMBER INCOME $43,699.45 EXPENSE $34,889.63 DIFFERENCE ($ 8,809.82) YEAR TO DATE, AS OF 9/30/14 INCOME EXPENSE DIFFERENCE $423,430.78 $404,071.67 $ 19,359.11 PRIOR YEAR DEFICIT YTD NET OPERATING FUND ($3,424.62) $15,934.49 RUMMAGE SALE! We really need folks that can help sort the rummage on Sunday mornings beginning in September and strong men (or women) that can lift rummage to the top shelves in the storage room. Please contact Joan McDavid or Leslie Dawson if you have any questions or would like to volunteer. “Cliff ’s Notes” for Episcopal Worship Stand, sit, kneel, bow, make the sign of the cross? Feel free to write your own notes so that you can study them later. The teaching series will be every Sunday through Nov 23, except TODAY and Nov 2 (All Saints’ Day). Clergy will be available in the Parish Hall for follow up discussion and/or questions about why we do what we do in worship.
