This technical workshop to be conducted by Dr Marvin Morris,
supplements his keynote presentation for the seminar 'Lightning
Effects on Underground Coal Mines'. The workshop provides an
opportunity for a more in-depth look at the development, validity
and accuracy of various modelling and analytical techniques used
to determine the potential effects of lightning on underground coal
mines. Further discussions as to how this knowledge and modelling
can by utilised to mitigate the dangers caused by lightning energy
transfer into underground mines will be welcome.
