Based on the best-selling novel by Chantal Thomas, the film stars Léa Seydoux as one of Marie's ladies-in-waiting, seemingly an innocent but quietly working her way into her mistress's special favours, until history tosses her fate onto a decidedly different path. With the action moving effortlessly from the gilded drawing rooms of the nobles to the back quarters of those who serve them, this is a period film at once accurate and sumptuous in its visual details and modern in its emotions. Never the front runner and completely caught off guard, he panics as he's presented to the faithful in St. Peter's Square. To prevent a worldwide crisis, the Vatican's spokesman calls in an unlikely psychiatrist who is neither religious nor all that committed, (played by Moretti), to find out what is wrong with the new Pope. As the world nervously waits outside, inside the therapist tries to find a solution. Director David Cronenberg adapts author Don DeLillo’s novel about a Manhattan billionaire (Robert Pattinson) who finds his quest to get a haircut from his father’s old barber complicated by the presidential motorcade, a gang of violent anarchists, and a funeral procession for a famous hip-hop star. Meanwhile, the wealthy 28-year-old’s vast fortune rests on the value of the yen, which he continually monitors from the comfort of the stretch limo. Urbanized is a feature-length documentary about the design of cities, looking at the issues and strategies behind urban design and featuring some of the world’s foremost architects, planners, policymakers, builders, and thinkers. Over half the world’s population now lives in an urban area, and 75% will call a city home by 2050. But while some cities are experiencing explosive growth, others are shrinking. Who is allowed to shape our cities, and how do they do it? Unlike many other fields of design, cities aren’t created by any one specialist or expert. There are many contributors to urban change, including ordinary citizens who can have a great impact improving the cities in which they live. Pinto stars as the eldest daughter of a poor family in Rajasthan, India. She works in a nearby resort to help pay the bills.
