and Learning Management
Professor Vicharn Panich, M.D. is known as the pioneer for knowledge management in Thailand
as he is the Director of the Knowledge Management Institute (KMI). He has served as the Special
Advisor of The Thailand Research Fund (TRF), and the Chairman of the University Council of
Mahidol University Council. He has also served on the boards of many organizations and
foundations, including as chairman of the International Health Policy Program Foundation,
member of the boards of the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program
Foundation, the Medical Division of the Ananda Mahidol Foundation, and the Prince Mahidol
Award Foundation under Royal Patronage.

Preecha P. Yupapin
King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
Dr. Preecha P. Yupapin is currently an Associate Professor at with Department of Physics, Faculty of Science,
King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical
Engineering from City University of London, M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Mahidol University, and B.Ed.
in Physics from Srinakarinwirote University. His experiences include being a post-doctor research fellow
under the European Community research project from 1994 to 1985and a visiting professor at the
Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2007. He has authored and coauthored more than 550 research papers in Google Scholar database, 35 papers in Pubmed, and 35 chapters
and books. He has been appointed as an Editorial Board Member and Editor-in-Chief of 20 international
journals. His research interests are nanophysics, nano-electronics, spintronics, nano-communication and
networks, molecular electronics, nano-medicine and beauty, nano-energy and human engineering. Dr.
Yupapin is a member of Thai Institute Physics (TIP), South East Asia Theoretical Physics Association
(SEATPA) committee, South East Asian Collaboration for Ocean Renewable Energy (SEAcORE) committee,
Optical Society of America (OSA), OSA nanophotonic technology technical group advisor. He got several
outstanding works, where one of them has the opportunity to win the Nobel Prize Awards in 2012 on
“Stopping Light” concept in IEEE-Photonics Technology in 2009. He has also been a candidate for Eni Awards
2013(Nobel Prize in Energy) on “New Type Solar Cells Device” in OPTICS EXPRESS 2012.
Thawascha Dechsubha
Nakhorn Rachasima Rajabhat University
Dr. Thawascha Dechsubha holds an Ed.D. in Applied Linguistics from La Trobe University,
Australia, M.A in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Srinakharinwiort University
(Prasarnmittra) and B.A in English, Burabha University. He is currently the Head of the Master’s
Degree Program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and an Assistant Professor
at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhorn Rachasima Rajabhat University,
Thailand. He conducts a number of research studies in the field of English language teaching &
Learning e.g., Professional English Speaking, English Speaking Proficiency, and Critical Literacy
Approach in Teaching and Reading English. He is an author of many publications in the
respective field including Linguistics for language teachers, English Communication, Effective
Reading, English Reading Strategies for Thai Students, and Supplementary teaching materials
for Linguistics for Language Teachers.

Dr. Alexis Ribas Salvador is a specialist on parasitology in animals. He holds a doctoral degree
from University of Barcelona, Spain where he has been a lecturer at Laboratory of Parasitology,
Faculty of Pharmacy. He earned a Master in Parasitology also from University of Barcelona and
a Bachelor in Biology from University of Girona. Dr. Ribas has authored and co-authored a
number of papers in the field including the following titles from his 2014 publications in leading

Athikom Roeksabutr

Dr, Athikom Roeksabutr received a B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from the King
Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang, Thailand, an M.S.E.E. (Electrical Engineering)
from the Florida Institute of Technology, USA, and a Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering major in
Optical Communications) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is currently the
Dean of Engineering and the Vice President at Mahanakorn University of Technology, Bangkok,
Thailand. He also serves as the editor to the journal of the Engineering Transactions. He has
published more than 100 research papers in both local and international publications. His
research interests include optical technology and communication system, optical signal
processing, microwave photonics, impact of the radio frequencies, and etc.. He has been the
President of the IEEE Photonics Thailand Chapter for more than a decade as well as the
executive committees in many local and international professional societies. Since 2003, he has
been the Chairman of the Technical Committee (TC) no. 892 of the TISI (Thai Industrial
Standard Institute) to define the National Standard of the optical fiber cables being used in
Thailand and also the representative of Thailand in TC86 of the IEC (International
Electrotechnical Commission). He has been involved with many subcommittees in NBTC
(National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission) and the Ministry of Information
and Communication Technology.

Acting Pilot Officer, Dr. Buncha Samruayruen received his B.Ed. in Educational Technology
(Minor in Arts Education) from Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand, M.Ed. in AudioVisual Communications from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand and Ph.D in
Learning Technologies (Educational Computing) from University of North Texas, Denton, USA,
respectively. He has been a university lecturer and Program Coordinator of Educational
Technology, Faculty of Education and a Deputy Director of Research & Development Institute at
Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Phitsanulok Province, Thailand. His research interests are
in Educational Computing Research, Online Learning Strategy and model, Computer-based
Learning and Learning Experience in Information Technology.

Dr. Tosawat Seetawan received his B.Sc. in Education (Math) at Ubonratchathani Rajabhat
University, M.Sc. in Solid State Physics at Chiang Mai University and Ph.D. and Postdoctoral in
Physics at Khon Kaen University. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Program of
Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. In 2008, He is
the winner of the best presentation in The 2nd Progress in Advance Materials: Micro/Nano
Materials and Applications at Khon Kaen, Thailand and in 2011, International Association of
Computer Science & Information Technology (IACSIT), Excellent presented papers of
ICMAE2011, ICPEE2011 and ICSGS2011, International Conference on Power energy
Engineering. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 research papers with high impact
factor about Mechanical and Thermoelectric of Materials, Micro/Nano Materials, Material
Synthesization, Molecular Dynamics and related fields of advanced materials.
Sornchai Mungthaisong
Chiang Rai Rajabhat University
Dr. Sornchai Mungthaisong received Ph.D. Linguistics from Adelaide University, Australia. His
two-decade of academic expertise covers various areas of linguistic works including
ethnographic and ethnosemantic studies, community-based development research based on
linguistic knowledge, literacy studies and text analysis. He currently an Assistant Professor of
Linguistics and serves as vice president academic affairs of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University,
Chaing Rai Province.
