The index started 131 points higher but breaking below the Grey support line later resulted in a net loss of 130 points or 0.4%. Most sectors ended flat to negative but the metal, power and PSU indices shaved off 1.5-2% each. The A/D ratio also turned negative to end at 1:3. The action formed a Bear candle comprising the biggest intra-day shave-off in the last 20days. The index broke below the Grey support line, and is now testing the lower Blue channel at about 27925. Watch if this support holds. Weakness continuing below the channel could test the two-week lows of 27739-65, which is the next crucial support.
