Readme File for Cisco Prime Network Change
and Configuration Management 3.11 Patch 2

This document supports the release of the Cisco Prime Network Change and
Configuration Management 3.11 Patch 2, which is installed on top of Cisco Prime
Network 3.11.
Note: It is recommended to install Change and Configuration Management 3.11 Patch 2
on top of Change and Configuration Management 3.11 Patch 1
Note: All changes described in this document apply only to Cisco Prime Network Change
and Configuration Management 3.11 Patch 2.

Cisco Prime Network 3.11 CCM Patch 2 contains:
 The necessary files and scripts to upgrade successfully.
 Resolved caveats, identified in Resolved Caveats – Cisco Prime Network 3.11 CCM
Patch 2.
3 Installing the PN 3.11 CCM Patch 2
This procedure describes how to install the Cisco Prime Network 3.11 CCM Patch 2 on
top of an existing Cisco Prime Network 3.11 installation.
Installation Procedure
1. Log into the Cisco Prime Network gateway as Prime Network user.
Copy the Patch file PN_CCM_3.11.2.zip to Prime Network Home directory
<$ANAHOME>
2. To extract the necessary JAR files and scripts, enter the following commands:
cd $ANAHOME
unzip PN_CCM_3.11.2.zip
Give Executable permissions for the directory PN_CCM_3.11.2 using following
command:
chmod –R 777 PN_CCM_3.11.2
To install the PN 3.11 CCM Patch 2 and create the backup files, enter:
cd $ANAHOME/PN_CCM_3.11.2
./PN_CCM_311PP2_PatchUpgrade.tcsh
3. Wait until the Prime Network Web Server is up and running. Normally it takes about
10 to 15 minutes for Prime Network Web Server to be up and running. To verify this,
enter the following command:
dmctl status
4. Verifying the PN 3.11 CCM Patch 2 Installation:
The install log file PN_CCM_Upgrade_3112.log will be available at
$XMP_HOME. Check for any errors in this log file. If there are no errors in the
log file then Prime Network 3.11 Change and Configuration Management Patch 2
is installed successfully

The following caveats have been fixed in Cisco Prime Network 3.11 CCM Patch 2.
