Job Vacancy Muslim Aid is an international relief and development agency based in London working in over 70 countries since last 25 years helping the disaster and conflict affected people across the world. MAUK is implementing “Education/Livelihood/Health/Religious due/Emergency”in Myanmar since 2011. Currently we are looking for following experienced individuals who will be base in Yangon Country Office. Title: Number of Opening: Opening Date: Closing Date: Duration: Reporting to: Admin & Finance Assistant One 19 Nov‟ 2014 5 Dec‟ 2014 12 months full time initially (with three month probation) Finance Manager Overall Responsibilities Under the supervision of FM, the AFA will be responsible for the efficient cash management in Country field office and providing timely financial reports to direct supervisor. This would include preparing draft monthly cash projection, processing of finance transactions, handling petty cash, and managing day to day cash receipts and payments. Ensure to arrange and prepare the receipts, bills, invoice and vouchers of project expense for booking into MAUK‟s Financial System. Ensure to maintain/control in all cash transactions and check financial forms before payment Ensure to accurate cash and bank book reconciliation weekly, monthly. Ensure to manage all bank transactions, withdraw, deposit, reconciliation, bank authorization request and signatory update. Keep conduct with Program Team for outstanding Advanced for clearance in time. Ensure to collaborate with Program Team for planning as per relevant project‟s expense. (Eg. Travel, Procurement, Bank Transfer, Payment) 1 Ensure that cash handling, payments and working advances are adhering to the principles of MAUK„s Regulations. Regular conduct cash count to ensure correct ending balance of cash amount on regular weekly monthly basic. To assist in preparing the annual budget proposals and collect expenditure data To submit monthly financial report to Finance Manager Perform any other duties assigned by Finance Manager. Qualification & Experience: University Degree or diploma in Business/Accounting or, Economics would be desirable. Minimum 2 year experiences in office and project administrative job, working with INGO would be advantage. Interest in humanitarian and community development activity Skills/Knowledge/Ability: Good interpersonal and communication skills, Proficient in Word, Excel and other programs, Able to work independently and under supervision and tight deadline, Ability to work under own initiative, Moderate in spoken and written English and local languages also considered.
