If you ride the bus, don’t stay. Washington D.C. students –please come see Mrs. Nehl about the elementary tournaments and other fundraiser opportunities sometime this week. The following students need to come to the library to see Ms. Barnes to renew or return their overdue library books in the Library Media Center today: Emily Servick, Garret Lager, Haley Hungerholt, Carter Johnson, & Sierra Lawson. Snowmobile safety class - sign up NOW at L-O High School office and get your snowmobile safety dvd. Class limit - 24 students. All students must be 11 years old by Dec. 31, 2014. Students will go thru class on dvd and take test. Then go on-line to get Snowmobile Safety certificate. The cost is $5, will need to be paid to DNR using debit or credit card. Student will need to bring certificate to class. At class there will be review, written test & driving test. Please bring warm clothes, snowmobile helmet, a snack & pop or water. Date/Time/Cost: Date/Time/Cost Saturday, December 20, 8:30am-1:00pm, Cost is Free, after $5 fee paid to DNR before attending class.. Location/Instructor: L-O High School Ag Room. Use west parking lot door by green house, Mark Anderson The following FFA members MUST TURN IN YOUR FFA FUNDRAISER MONEY BY 3 PM TOMORROW (Tues., Dec. 16th)= Miranda Bergan, Caitlyn Bosley, Sara Gottschalk, Rochelle Hovde, Ryan/Sara/Tanner Kasel, Garett Kempe, Amanda Lewison, Sean Lohuis, Kallie McKenzie, Taylor Meyer, Caleb Middleton, Jade Myers, Ashley Norby, Kaylee/Riley Olson, Haley Riedemann, Sam Roe, Libertee Smalley, Josh Williams & Josh Woltmann Extras are for sale from the FFA Fundraiser – see Mrs. Timm to purchase extra items. The L-O Ag Dept. has just a few Poinsettias let to sell. There are 2 Large Marble Poinsettias which are $12 each and 3 Medium variegated left Poinsettias are $8. All are foiled and wrapped & ready to go!! Congrats to L-O FFA for a good showing last Thursday at the U of M Winter Invite. Cassidy Harrington won the Job Interview Division, Peyton Soltau was 8th in Creed, the Nursery/Landscape Team placed 6th, the Small Animal Team was 11th and Floriculture team was also 11th. FFA members grades 9-12 that DID NOT get signed up for the FFA Rodeo last week = stop down by Wednesday at 3pm to sign up = or your ticket will go to an 8th or 7th grader. Attention all students grades 7-12=the L-O FFA would like to invite all of you on the FFA Ski Trip to Afton Alps on Saturday, Jan. 10th. Stop down and sign up if you are interested with Mrs. Timm. December ecember 19th NHS Members: Reminder to let Judy know which games you and/or parents can work at Concessions. Dates are D Boys game (girls are at Alden), Dec. 22 Girls game (Boys are at Lanesboro) & Jan. 2 Boys (No girls game). If we do not get students and parents signed up by tomorrow for Friday’s game we will have to cancel and find some other group to do it. Juniors & Seniors—the Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services is sponsoring an all-expense paid trip for two students in the FMCS area to attend the 2015 Rural Electric Youth Tour in Washington D.C. See Mrs. Nehl or Mr. Frisinger before February 13th for more information. The following students need to turn in their Riverland Spring Semester Forms: Hanna Bauer, Jace Bunne. Riverland is waiting for these and you will not be able to take the second semester classes if they are not completed and turned in to Judy TODAY!!!!!! Seniors: - Reminder about upcoming scholarship deadlines. Christmas vacation would be a great time to work on these.
