Analyst’s Verdict: Harlestone Times went
with a good deal of promise in what could
prove to be a strong Aintree maiden on
hurdling debut in October, and with the
step up in trip likely to suit, he gets the vote.
Mr Grey and Gioia di Vita head the dangers,
the former narrowly preferred for the
forecast spot.

Analyst’s Verdict: Shady Lane remains
a maiden after 14 starts, but she’s gone
close on several occasions and can make a
winning start for Dan Skelton back hurdling
in headgear. Flash Tommie and You’ve Been
Mowed both hold an each-way claim.

Independent Racecourses Ltd Maiden Hurdle
Analyst’s Verdict: Veteran C&D winner
Dashing George showed he still has plenty
to offer when close-up at Kelso recently. The
assessor continues to cut him some slack
and he looks worth siding with to get the
job done here, possibly at the expense of
My Oh Mount Brown, who made a pleasing
start over fences at Warwick this month.

Analyst’s Verdict: Dan Skelton looks to
have found bumper-winner Bon Chic an
ideal opening on hurdles bow, and she gets
the nod with serious opposition looking
thin on the ground. Haatefina rates the chief
threat, provided her jumping holds up on
this occasion.

Analyst’s Verdict: Be Bop Boru and
Seaviper rather stand out as progressive
types in this line-up and look the pair to
focus on, with a narrow vote going the
way of the former, who was third in a really
competitive handicap at Cheltenham on her
reappearance.

Analyst’s Verdict: Snowell has been raised
6 lb for his recent Leicester success, though
he’s a likeable sort who should go well
again. Home For Tea cannot be discounted,
but Six One Away travelled well in front for
a long way at Ludlow earlier this month and
could prove hard to peg back dropping back
to this trip for a yard that has found refound
some form after a prolonged quiet spell.
Analyst’s Verdict: Using all the information available to them, a Timeform Analyst assesses the merit of each horse’s form, considers how
likely it is to reproduce or improve upon that rating under the prevailing conditions and then balances those conclusions against the odds
available in the market, thus arriving at a Verdict.
