HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF MILLBROOK BAPTIST CHURCH WE INVITE YOU to become a member of Millbrook Baptist Church in one of the following ways: 1)By professing faith in Jesus Christ and following Him in believer baptism by immersion. 2)By promise of your “letter” from another Southern Baptist Church. We will take care of the details of asking for your “letter” and transferring your membership. 3)By your statement of faith in Jesus Christ.In the event church membership records are not available for transfer of membership, or if you were once a Baptist church member but are presently a member of another denomination, we will accept you upon your statement of these conditions. 4)By baptism from another denomination. If you have personally believed in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and have not been baptized by immersion, we invite you to join by baptism. 5)By participating in a Discover Millbrook Luncheon. Perspectives will open your eyes to the heart and purpose of God, and how you can take part in His work all over the world, from the urban and suburban streets of America to the rain forests and deserts of distant lands. The study will begin at 9:30 AM followed by a light lunch. ORCHESTRA INSTRUMENTS NEEDED: We are beginning a new program to support our orchestra by helping people of all ages to praise the Lord with instrumental music. We are asking for donations of new and used musical instruments for the instrument repository. Contact Bob Schanhals (803-640-6027) to donate instruments or to express your interest in borrowing an instrument to eventually use in our orchestra. 2014 CONTRIBUTIONS: In order for your donations to count toward 2014, please contribute in one of these three ways: • Bring your contributions to the church office by December 30, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM • Contribute online at www.millbrook.cc • Mail your contributions so that they are postmarked before January 1, 2015 MILLBROOK CHILD CARE: is accepting applications/resumes for Godly, dedicated, hardworking teachers and a part time bus driver (CDL license required) for the child care ministry.
