CALL FOR CONCURRENT SESSION PROPOSALS National Association for Developmental Education 39th Annual Conference Bridging the Past & Present to the Future Greenville, SC February 25-28, 2015 This form must be completed by the Contact Presenter, who is responsible for keeping co-presenters informed about the status of the proposal. The Contact Presenter must supply both institutional and summer addresses. An acceptance confirmation is emailed only to the Contact Presenter. If the proposal is confirmed, then this person also must inform the Program Chair of any changes or other variances related to the proposal. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: JULY 31, 2014 1. Abstract: The abstract should be 250-400 words and must show clarity of purpose, a clear connection to the conference theme of Bridging the Past and Present to the Future, clear objectives and intended outcomes, relevance to the intended audience, and, if relevant, quality of research. The session plan should indicate how your session will be structured to accomplish your objectives. Minimally, your proposal must include the following detailed segments of the content of your presentation: • PowerPoint slide sample, • Proposed handouts, • Planned session strategies, and • A session timeline and structure. **Please note: These detailed segments should be forwarded with your proposal submission as attachments.
