TOGETHER. 1 Ledcor Technical Services 1500 , 1055 West Hastings Street , Va ncouver, British Columbia , Canada V6E 2E9 NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT OF WORKS Makenzie Valley Fibre Link Water License MV2014L 1-0011 Land Use Permit MV2014X0027 On behalf of the Government of the Northwest Territories please accept this letter of notification that work on the Mackenzie Valley Fibre Optic Project is commencing in the following areas: • • • • Dempster Highway south towards Fort Good Hope (Crew #4) Fort Good Hope south towards Norman Wells (Crew #3) Norman Wells north to Fort Good Hope (Crew #2) Norman Wells south to Tulita (Crew #1) Brushing of the 6m working area, establishment of temporary work areas and equipment mobilization will commence for all crews on or shortly after January 5th with the cable installation to follow by January 12th. In addition to the above works preparation will start for the Horizontal Directional Drilling across the Great Bear River. Site brushing and set up of the drill pad will start on January 5th with drilling planned to commence on January 151h . A second Horizontal Directional Drill is planned for the Rabbitskin River for January/February 2015. We will provide written notice when we have a confirmed start date. All start dates are subject to our ability to mobilise equipment via ice bridges and winter road.
